Mainstays 8' Rainbow Beach Umbrella, Adjustable Tilt

If you're looking in the price range of about $40 you cannot do better than this. It's almost a $90 umbrella other places it's great. I love it. The colors are vibrant. I like the little “vents” on top where the air can come in I can't attest to long-term, but it is very sturdy.

Best beach umbrella especially for large groups, even doubles as a massive rain umbrella for a family.

I've bought two umbrellas to replace the one's I own. After several years of hard use it was time for replacements. These give the best coverage and hold up well to the wind and sun.

This is the best umbrella. It's large for two people and all of our items (chairs, cooler, and bags) or four people if you huddle closer. I use it with an umbrella anchor and it's been so stable even in strong winds. It wipes off easily if it gets dirty and stores back with ease in its bag.

Purchased this at the beach after my previous umbrella got damaged in the wind. Bought based off consumer reports recommendation. I like the carrying bag and colors. When the wind picked up at the beach it looked like the umbrella was getting very taxed. We ended up closing it down because it looked like a few more blows and it was going to demolish it. Good price, would work well on less windy days, but if in really windy conditions you may want to spend more to get a stronger umbrella for big winds. The beach we were at doesn't allow shibumis. But if you're at a beach that allows shibumis … I would recommend this umbrella to take and use in the days when there is no wind. Use the umbrella for no wind times, and the shibumi for windy days.
