Mainstays 9" x 13" Nonstick Steel Cake Pan with Plastic Lid

I'm very happy with the Mainstays 9" x 13" Covered Nonstick Steel Bake and Roast Cake Pan. It bakes evenly, and the nonstick surface makes it easy to remove cakes and clean up afterward. The included lid is a great bonus for storing leftovers or transporting baked goods to gatherings. It's sturdy, practical, and offers excellent value for the price. Highly recommended for everyday baking and roasting!

I meant to get one of these the last time I went to the store but forgot it. I love this kind of cake pan because it's just the right size, so easy to cook in, then frost in, then cut and serve from. And, it has a lid to store you treat so it will be fresh when you want it, not to mention, the awesome non-stick coating on the pan for easy cooking and serving.

These pans with lids are so useful. I use them for my Lasagna, Spanakopita, Ziti, Mac and Cheese, Baklava and many more dishes I prepare for freezing until needed! The lid fits very tightly -- perfect for ensuring for no spillage during freezing or traveling! They cook well and the non-stick means cleanup is a breeze!

My cakes turn out perfect in this terrific non-stick pan. It is well-designed with handles shaped into each end for easy handling. It heats evenly and reliably. Although it's dishwasher safe I'm hand washing to protect it from harsh dishwasher tablets, it cleans easily so that's no problem. The lid allows enough extra space on top for generous icing and decoration. It's exactly what I wanted!

I love this covered pan. I got it so I could make lasagne and have a fitted cover instead of messing with foil or plastic wrap. The lasagne baked up nicely. I did use cooking spray but every bit of sauce & cheese washed off with the scrub of my dish cloth.

I received this product in exchange for my honest review through the SparkReviewer program. This is the first cake pan that I have owned that came with an attached cover. I really like this about the pan. It clips to close on top of the pan with food stored in the pan and also clips inside the pan so when you aren't using it the lid doesn't get lost. This is a great versatile piece to have in your kitchen. I would recommend this pan to someone that is looking for something similar as it is a great piece to have. The lid is great but could crack easily if something heavy is stored on top of it. I would recommend watching what it put on top of the lid as it is plastic and not the strongest plastic.

I love this cake pan! Cakes bake perfectly in here and it is easy to clean. My favorite part is that it comes with a lid! So many times i will bake a cake and have to cover it with aluminum foil. Then when i take it off, it takes off my icing! This lid snaps on easily, snaps off easily and has plenty of space so no icing is taken off! I can't believe I've lived this long without a cake pan with a lid! It's a life changer!!

I love these pans, and usually they hold up. I think the last one I bought was probably 5-10 years ago. However, this pan arrived with two small places in the corners where the the nonstick coating looks like it has a little slit in it. I don't want to take the risk of using it and having it come off, as once the coating comes off, it's completely unusable, as those areas will rust. Here's hoping this was just a lemon and that the quality in general hasn't declined.

My lid was cracked, and the lid/pan arrived in a large, manila envelope. So I presume that the item was not packed appropriately. I needed the pan for the holidays, so I didn't have time to exchange it. I used it, but it was cracked on the corner.

the pan will rust and have your cakes tasting like iron and if you take the chance of ordering a new one they may deliver it with a broken top or no baking pan and only the top. its so unacceptable and irritating. I will never deal with this mainstays 9 x 13 baking ever again.
