Mainstays 9" x 9" Round Nonstick Steel Cake Pan, Dark Gray

I recently went to cook something and discovered I really didn't have any good pans anymore LOL after years of use I throw out pans as they have become not so useful anymore with age and use. When I reached for some cookie sheets and discovered I didn't have what I needed I took inventory and realized it was that time again to clean out the rest of the old and get new pans in. I don't need a lot there's just two of us but I'm not going to spend a ton of money on a pan because of the name on it. I simply look for what I need and the item with the best value. So while I was looking around I came across the cookie sheets by mainstay that were a convenient size and definitely a great price. I was not expecting anything other than mediocre at best but these pans are of a really nice quality! I was surprised at the weight to them, they are not flimsy baking sheets. I cannot speak to durability because I have just received them but if I'm doing what I'm supposed to in taking care of them I can absolutely see these pans lasting a long hot minute! If you are like me in need of restocking quite a few items or just simply on a budget which almost all of us are, don't be afraid to get these pans! I review items all the time and not just items that are a big fail. I absolutely do for the good and the bad. If I have posted a review nine times out of 10 it is because it is a extremely awesome item like these are, or they are an epic fail and I want any of you readers to know what your considering either way. I count on everyone else's reviews a lot of times when making a final decision and I always hope to find honest reviews regardless of the outcome and I appreciate those of you who help me. Bought these to make little pizzas in our air fryer, so as to not heat the house up in the summer. Measured the air fryer basket, 9x10, but these don't fit. They have a lip that prevents the pan from fitting. Guess I should have sought 8 inch pans, if there are any. The metal seems good, as does the non stick, a bit thin, but that's what I wanted, for a quick cooking time.

The Mainstays Nonstick 9 Round Cake Pan is really "NONSTICK" which is a welcome feature because the last thing you want is for your cake to stick at the bottom of the pan. The cake pan appears to be covered in a "teflon" like material. Aside from the cake sliding easily out of the pan, I also use the pan for warming stuff in my countertop toaster oven but a potholder should be used when handling the pan. The pan is easy to clean with dishwashing liquid. The pan is a good size measuring 9" across and approximately 1 2/3" deep. I absolutely love using this pan because of it's versatility, nonstick feature and easy clean up.

This is a great pan. It's a sturdy pan that has weight to it. The non-stick surface works well. It bakes evenly. It's easy to clean and I have no complaints. I would like to note, it may need minor recipe adjustment, usually found in fine print for "dark non-stick pans."

Well not only is it lightweight and non stick. It's so much more than a cake pan. I got more than one so I use them as my dredging station for chicken cutlets or whatever else I have to fry. The non stick coating makes clean up a breeze. Also use it as an appetizer server with a little dipping bowl in center. Very handy item and even heating makes cakes and brownies bake great. Perfect for that person who loves to cook and host in the family.

Could not have been a more timely item. I have a special dinner to attend this Sunday and it is one of those where you bring food or desert. I have been dying to make a 3 layer cake for some time, but never got around to buying that exra pan. So for this event,I used my 2 older pans and this new non stick one. Wow does that make clean up a snap. The cake layer in my new pan even raised the best although I divided the batter evenly. I wanted a non stick pan for some time and so glad I have it now. 2 more are on my shopping list when I go to Walmart next time. The layer just slipped right out after 10 minutes. No sticking whatsoever, and the layer baked evenly too. Can’t wait to get 2 more .

This Mainstays Nonstick 9 Round Cake Pan is made of high quality steel and is nine inches in diameter and one and a half inches deep. The Cake Pan has a dark, nonstick finish which allows even heating and easy maintenance. It is useful for other things beside cakes, it is also great for pizza, dinner rolls, cinnamon rolls and a wide array of baked goods. The Pan care is simple provided that only certain implements are used. Use only plastic, hard rubber, or wooden tools so as to prevent scratching the non stick surface. This means taking additional care but the non stick surface makes removing food from the pan a breeze and cleaning the pan is literally just wiping it out with warm soapy water. This is handy because the pan is not dishwasher safe. And of course this pan is not for stove top use. The ease of cleaning, even with sticky items, make this pan ideal for today's hurried lifestyle. It is ideal for anything that is oven baked. I think it's a great addition to any kitchen.

This is a nice little baking pan for anyone that likes to bake and doesnt want to spend a fortune. Its nonstick so I didnt have to use butter or flour in the bottom. I used it to bake cake and brownies and even cooked biscuits in it. It's pretty roomy at 9 inches also! I did burn something in it and had to scrub it a little and it didnt even get scratched up.

Well this pan was so needed. The one I previously had burned up..so I threw it out lol. I guess it was a really cheap one. This one is indeed nonstick! I love nonstick cookware because they are easy to clean and cook with as well! I didn't know (crazy me) that I wasn't suppose to clean these kind of cookware with things like wire made cleaning items. Well I know now so this pan will last a lot longer than the other one I had.

Washed 2wice and peeled now rusted! Baked a cakes once in it! It didn't stick! But the quality is cheap! The coating is a spray or however it's made in it and it peels off! Not good at all especially if it's in your food! Guess the price says it all! Bought 2 only 1 peeled! I don't use them often! Been only 1 and 1/2 month .
