Mainstays Bamboo Laundry Drying Rack, 7-Level Space-Saving Collapsible Design

I bought this same drying rack well over 5 years ago and it is still being used and in perfect shape. I needed 2 more and happened to find them on the Walmart website. I was thrilled to be able to find the same one. Highly recommend this product.

I was looking to replace our broken drying rack. This one is sturdy. Better than the metal one with pull apart rods that easily falls off. You actually have to screw in the rods therefore it isn't truly collapsible unless you unscrew all the rods. Easy to put together if you watch the video. The paper instructions weren't really intuitive. Great design and this one will last a long time

Bought this to replace my old metal mainstays laundry drying rack. Seems much more stable and has worked great. Collapses up even smaller than my old one.

I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box. I thought I was overpaying for the usual cheap wood dowel wobbly rack I was replacing that I had bought years ago for $8 or $9. I took off a star only because It does not indicate on the box nor on the website that only the frame is bamboo, the dowels are metal and have to be assembled with screws and wrench (provided). But it's a nice sturdy item, easy to put together, even for an old arthritic lady like me, and I am very happy with it. Just took my time and figured it all out before I started. It's a bit stiff as far as collapsing to fold up and reopening, and I recommend re-tightening the screws anytime you do fold it down, and then open it back up.

It was a little obnoxious to put together, but once it's assembled that's no longer an issue! It collapses easily and fits under the crib. The baby clothes and bedding hang off it easily, and it's lightweight and easy to carry outside/inside/etc. It has probably already paid for itself in terms of clothes not having to put in the coin dryer.

This is a nice product for the one issue that if you open and close the rack each time you do laundry, you will find the screws coming loose so you have to tighten them each time. Not a deal breaker but just a heads up.

I bought this drying rack to air dry laundry on my back porch. It was easy to assemble, but the overall quality is disappointing. The bamboo started splintering almost immediately, especially where the arms lock into place, and it's not very easy to expand and collapse. It does hold about three-quarters of a load of laundry, but I expected better durability.

You will need that little wrench every time you collapse the rack and again when you open it, so don't throw it away. THE worst design, ever. I'm not hard on the rack, I don't collapse or open it roughly at all. I'm an older woman with arthritis but this rickety rack is not worth the money unless you also purchase some loctiite or glue to keep it from loosening again. Sturdiness depends on tightening all of bolts every time it is used. Buyer beware.

I bought this bamboo drying rack assuming it would be just like my old one that recently broke, but was very disappointed to find that the bars are made of metal. They seem to be powder coated to prevent rust, but not what I wanted as scratches could lead to rust on my clothes. The description is deceptive.

Came unassembled which I didn't know,should have read the description better Came undone with the clothes on it,had to tie it together so can't fold it. Not good.
