I bought this sofa less than two weeks ago, and it is already sagging badly. To make matters worse, some of the hardware/parts keep falling off, which is a major safety concern. I expected much better quality for a new piece of furniture. Very poor craftsmanship and not worth the money. Do not buy!
I mean it “works” but the assembly was annoying because the holes aren't are drilled very well and I was missing a screw hole for a whole part of the couch and it was missing screws the couch also wears down really fast I've had this couch for about two weeks now and one side of the couch has bent springs and and is uneven and the right side is already starting to wear as well I probably got another month out of the couch before it's unusable it's cheap but there's a reason obviously
When I put the feet on, all of them were good except for one leg in the middle. The holes on the couch were further apart than the holes on the legs, so I had to put the screws sideways to make it fit. When I assembled the rest, the left side of the back couch was leaning more than the right side. Come to find out the bottom structure is broken and chips of wood was coming out. I believe the wood is dry rotten.
I recently purchased a sofa from Walmart, only to find that two critical holes in the wooden frame were never drilled. Since the sofa was nearly fully assembled, taking it apart to return it was not an option. My experience with support was even worse than the defective product. I first chatted with an agent named Mohammed, who gave me a "fix it or return it" ultimatum. I ended up having to hire a professional at my own expense to drill the holes myself. When I followed up via chat with an agent named Biswa, he was unable to help because he had no access to my previous session details and insisted on a session ID I didn't have. Frustrated, I called support and spoke with another agent named Mohammed. Not only did he claim they have no record of previous conversations ("every call is new to us"), but his tone was dismissive and blunt, asking "What do you need, refund or return?" after I had already explained the situation. I worked in customer support 15 years ago, and we would never have treated a customer with such cold indifference or such a complete lack of internal communication. This is my last purchase from Walmart. If you value your time and sanity, buy your furniture elsewhere.
We just finished assembling this couch today, and overall, it's a great find for the price point. The assembly did take some effort, specifically with the number of screws required, but the end result feels very stable. The cushions are on the firmer side, which I actually prefer because it feels sturdy and supportive rather than sagging. The color is excellent and looks just like the photos. A big plus is the clearance underneath—there is plenty of room to slide small storage totes under there, which is a huge help for organization. Definitely a solid purchase.
The more you use the less comfortable... You can feel the wood frame the moment you lay down on it, more than the cushioning. The only comfortable areas to rest on when it's down in futon mode are bottom 10 inches of the seated area and the top area of the back support. I would return it to get a refund but it's too much of a hassle to disassemble it and return it to a store. I'm gonna count my losses on this one.
Took it out of the box put the legs on it and put it up right to then notice the cushion was weird. It wasn't the cushion it was the structure is broken. No one can sit on half of it without falling through. Disappointing, can't fit it in my car to return so I'm out the money. Not worth the hassle.
This item what's in my budget looks very nice. Fits very nice in my small apartment. Also, it is very sturdy and I love the gray color. It was very easy to assemble and I was very surprised how sturdy and also it's comfortable.
this product was suppose to be easy to assemble, but it was very confusing exactly when it came to placing the arms on the sofa it should tell which was left and which was the right side make sure the arms are lable left and right.
Delivered with 2 left side panels (arm rests) and the right side panel was missing. To complete assembly, hardware and attachments on the extra left side panel were removed and repositioned to resemble the right side panel.
