Mainstays Basic Black Digital Alarm Clock with Red LED Display

I bought this clock to replace an older one that quit working after a power outage. It keeps perfect time--better than the old one. But the display is a bit too bright for my liking. I solved that by applying a strip of blue painter's tape over the display.

A lot of the reviews say that the buzzer alarm isnt loud, this thing is very loud! The numbers are also not super bright even a few inches from my bedside so it's easy to fall asleep. Setup was a breeze and ive got it down to change minutes on the second. Overall, its a very nice, cheap, alarm clock.

Easy to set and operate one thing I didn't think of, the sound of the alaram going off. I can't hear it it's a very light beeping noise, won't wake me up. I had gotten up early and was 20 minutes before I noticed the alarm going off. I'll have to buy another.

Isn’t loud enough! You get what you pay for

Wanted a simple, inexpensive alarm clock without the extras. This seemed perfect when first plugging it in, but it has transformer buzzing noise that wasn't initially heard due to normal household sounds. But at night, when the room was quiet, the buzzing was so annoying it had to be unplugged. Good luck getting any sleep with this.

I purchased it for my kids so there was no need for a cell phone at night. The program button doesn't work well. Fighting to get it programmed was almost impossible. Once it's set it's fine. It's worth the lil $7.

I literally bought this yesterday and less than 24 hrs later segments are missing, you can not adjust the time or alarm. I knew it wouldn’t last long because of the bargain price but I was really hoping it would have lasted longer than one day.

never actually worked kept blinking hetween the time I set and 18:88 until it just stopped blinking and stayed 18:88.
