Mainstays Basic Pop Up Hamper, 2-Bin Laundry Baskets, Sorter & Hamper Type

For 3 bucks it does exactly what I need it to do

Works great for what it's intended for and an excellent price!

The hamper is lightweight and not too big for my small bathroom where it is kept for my niece's dirty clothes. The one I have in my washroom is also the same size and holds just the right amount of recycled cans, etc. that I can easily handle at a time.

I bought this hamper for my mother-in-law. She lives in a nursing home & we do her laundry. This hamper is light weight but still sturdy. It fits perfect in her armor & still leaves room for her hanging clothes. It's also more flexible than a wicker or plastic hamper. It's handles make it easy to carry in & out from the nursing home to the car.

I bought this hamper for my daughter for dance competitions to toss her costumes between numbers. It is lightweight, packs neatly and quickly, and inexpensive, so a good value overall.

Our family consists of four people, two adults and two teenagers. We have had to go to a Laundromat for the last year and transporting our mountain of clothes is rather challenging. However, this Pop Up Hamper from Mainstays has served me well for the past few trips. I like that once I'm done using it I can fold it up and store it until it is time to go do laundry again. Thinking about purchasing a second one actually.

Our other three-nets on a rack finally gave out after about 5 years. When I saw these and the price I thought I'd check them out. They are great - hold a lot more than you would think. They are very flexible too, so if you need to move something it doesn't 'bump' like our older one. The only thing is that if you have it FULL you will need to pick it up by the whole basket, not just the handles, the weight can cause ripping.

The size is perfect for the space I have in my bathroom. The handles are terrible. They are a nylon that cuts into my hands when carrying the full hamper to the Laundry room. I have another pop up hamper in my other bathroom and the handles are made of a web material that is much more comfortable. This hamper has been cheapen down in it's overall construction and another Walmart product that is cheap but of lower quality.

I choose to buy these because they were half the price of the other ones. Well, you get what you pay for. They are smaller than the others I had purchased in the past. All of them have ripped where the handles are from when I picked them up by the handles with laundry in them. They are cheaply made. Just spend the money on the more expensive ones, they are going to last a lot longer and you will end up buying them anyway!!!

Bought this thinking it was like the last ones I bought. Smaller, cheaper, handle so thin it hurts your had to carry. No value at all. It is not "basic" and it is not a "mainstay".
