Mainstays Basic Poster and Picture Frame, 20 x 30, Black, Set of 2

I truly felt the need to correct a few observation I gather from the reviews,even though a few customers rated the item very poorly others rated the item satisfactory to them...well my opinion of the item was quite good,it's to only be use as described for poster only,it's easy to mount only if you have patience for it.,another observation the sheer plastic that comes with the frame does not have any adhesive at all,you peel at that's it.it's also easy to place u poster like picture in it,then like a puzzle you insert you pieces together to form the frame and you hang up.....I was happy with the item and price just because I knew what I needed the frame for. Thank you.

Love the frames. I needed at least 18 frames and when I went on line to Walmarts I was pleasantly surprised at the deal I got. Originally I thought it would cost me at least $160.00 for 18 frames but was able to get 3 ( 6 in a PKG. FOR 29.99 ) saving almost half. When they came they were packaged nicely and got them a few days from the day I ordered. Thank you so much...! I do an Elvis Tribute Artist contest for charity every year. This was exactly what I wanted - a simple way to hang and protect my posters that wasn't going to cost a fortune. I bought two 2-packs, and one of the packs had small cracks on one of the corners (on both in the pack). The other 2-pack was in perfect condition. I ended up being able to use the cracked ones since the frame itself covered the small cracks up - I just had to be careful when I put my posters in. From the other reviews I gathered that shipping to my apartment meant that they would arrive pretty much destroyed. So instead, I used Ship-To-Store in the hopes that they would arrive in decent condition (plus I could just return them on the spot if they weren't). I don't know how they'd have been shipped if I sent them to my apartment, but these came in decent packaging. Had bubble wrap around the centers, box was labeled "Fragile", just no specific protection for the corners. So I can't complain. My posters look great and now they'll be kept in better condition.

my frame came cracked and broken in 3 places. i really didn’t want to go through the hassle of returning it to receive another one and figured the broken parts are so small no one will be able to notice from far away. it still makes the poster look nice and will look great on my wall.

I bought this product online simply because I was having prints made for my mom who works at the Walmart store in my town. Knowing that the ladies in the printing department wouldn't be able to contain themselves when it came to her big Christmas surprise, I had no other choice but to order online and figured getting frames at the same time would make the job much easier. Upon opening my package I found that BOTH the frames were broken, and was shocked to see that whomever processed it knew of this due to the TAPE holding the break in the frames together. I now am out the shipping expenses and found that buying two individual frames in store was much cheaper after all. So do yourselves a favor and just take the trip to the store. It's much better time and money wise. On a happier note, the new frames are just as I hoped them to be. I haven't found out how they hold up hanging(they're wrapped up under the tree still), but I'm sure they'll be just great. Best wishes and happy holidays to all you Walmart shoppers out there.

not bad , just that they have to be careful when shipping them ,because 3 out 4 were crack at the top right hand side of them. I need to re-order more of them though another 8 more I have many posters to hang up and trying to save them from getting rip, .

This is the one you take of the edges and clip them back kind of frame. Knowing I shouldn't expect muchfor how much I pay for, but my frame's front covering came in chipped, disappointed. I again have to use some tape for my framing. I think walmart should have better packaging training. Having a huge box with more spacing is just giving more room for motion and break the product. Should have use a smaller box and better cushioning.

The frames were packaged well, and easy to place a poster in. The fact that they were packaged well leads me to believe that there are inherent defects in the manufacturing process. Both frames came with damaged acrylic. One had a visible crack in it, down near the bottom. The other had a piece actually missing from a corner. You couldn't see it, until you removed the black frame edges, to insert the poster. It was covered up again, once the poster was inside. There were also cloudy areas throughout the acrylic pieces that aren't so noticeable with the dark posters that I placed in them, but might be noticeable with lighter posters. I didn't bother returning them because, if there were issues with both, there are probably issues with all of these frames. Basically, they're a simple design that will hold a poster for a kid's room. They're the only plastic poster frames in this size that I could find anywhere. I think that the value would be good if the acrylic was of slightly better quality. Although not thrilled, I don't want to pay for expensive wooden frames for my kids' posters, so this is what is available.

You get what you pay for. It is an extremely basic poster frame, consisting of a cardboard backing, plastic sheet, and four detachable black frame pieces. When I received it, the plastic sheet had small dents all over it, creating very visible marks everywhere. I was able to request a replacement product, but this time, one corner of the plastic sheet was chipped and bent. Is the purchase of a product without flaws too much to ask for?

I needed a LOT of poster frames for our wedding decorations and didn't want to break the bank; so I found this set of six and thought I was getting such a deal. When they arrived, they weren't padded in the box so many of the frames edges had chips, cracks, and chucks missing. One of the clear plastic inserts that goes over top of the poster even has a stress fracture in the plastic that you can see plainly. The backing for the poster is just plain cardboard, like they cut it from a cardboard box, so there is hardly any support when you're trying to get the frames edges back on the poster. These are a pain in the butt to assemble, and the corner pieces don't line up properly (let alone LOOK nice if yours shows up half as beaten and broken as mine did). If you have a black and white poster, you can almost get away with the corners not matching up because the black frame blends in - (we are hanging black and white Old Hollywood Movie Star Glamor Posters) but honestly, if I wasn't in such a time crunch, I wouldn't have bothered trying to salvage them before I marched them back to the store. Between all six frames I think I ended up with two that looked okay before I returned them (I had to use pieces from all six of them to end up with two full poster frames without any cracks or broken pieces...) DON'T BUY THESE FRAMES if you are expecting to hang a poster that means something to you, or that you want to look nice, you'll be REALLY disappointed...
