Mainstays Black Classic Column Solar Powered LED Path and Garden Light, 2 Lumens

I used these for the front of my house and for the walkway. These light up well and adds so much more a nicer look to the house. I did have too many in one spot(pic below) which looked a little off but then I separated them and was much better. The set up personally was not great for me as I had to remove a long sticker from each one which not to mention was super sticky. Other than setup, I am satisfied

I chose these because their design was gender neutral, simple , and classy. . So happy that I did. They were slimmer than I expected. but pleasantly surprised by the quality quality especially for the price.

We were looking for something that would be easy to install and easy to maintain.. These fit the bill... They are not really bright, so if you are looking for illumination, this really isn't the answer... I would call these more accent lighting.. Think about where you place these because they are solar.. They need good sunlight to charge properly. Pro's: Easy to use.. Solar, so no cords or batteries. Lightweight. Nice looking.. Con's: They are plastic. Not very bright.

I have put 11 of the 12 Solar Powered Black Classic Column LED Path Lights to use in my yard. The 12th one will not stay on so my husband will check it out. The instructions have a troubleshooting section. These lights are only 2 lumens so they put out soft but sufficient light. I have 7 on our pool deck and 4 in our raised bed garden. We live in the country where it is real dark at night since we are surrounded by a national forest. I depend on solar lighting as our kids and grandkids like to be out by the firepit at night. Plus, walking up from the boathouse when they come in from fishing right at dark can be tricky without much light. Our raised vegetable garden needs to be lit up so no one trips over it at night. The lights have 2 little screws, and the batteries can be replaced. They are small enough to not be hindering wherever they are used. On the occasion that our electricity goes out, it is always comforting to have some light in the yard. On our deck, my husband drilled holes for the lights to sit down inside. I like that the pointed end fits inside of the column not only for future use in the ground but also keeps bugs/spiders from building inside the column while being used on our deck. They are easy to clean and move around to other areas, when needed.

These lights were very easy to assemble. They came charged right out of the box. I put them in the flowerbed and took this picture. So I’m sure they’ll get even brighter after charging all day. I love how they look amongst my ferns. Why pay $$ when you can get nice solar lights for much less? I am going to buy more to line my other flower beds. I highly recommend these lights.

When these lights arrived, I chuckled. The box is so teeny-tiny, but I was surprised to find that its only because the lights are extremely well packaged and you put them together in a jiffy. It took me about 3 minutes to open the box, remove the pieces and put them together. One thing I failed to do until afterwards, was remove the orange tab from the bulb. They are a nice size. It is the light pice that slips into the body that slips into the stake...and you're done! I love these lights and on the first night, could hardly wait for it to get dark so see them light up. The light is pretty, just enough to brighten a small area, and they stayed on for quite sometime, I went to bed at 2am and they were still shining bright. I want more!!

These lights aren't the most powerful, they aren't the best made and they aren't the best looking BUT for the price, I don't think you can beat them. The light from them is amber and you should be able to light a path fairly well at night. I like to have a little glow around my pool area, so I've used them in the decorative grasses surrounding my pool decking. I haven't had the best of luck with other solar path lights I've paid more for, so if they're going to be something that I have to replace every couple of years, I feel better about spending less for them and these meet the need. If the picture is included with the review, it is taken above the light to show the radius of the light cast by the lamp.

Needed lights to light the pathway to the back door but sadly though didn't know these lights were as small as they were. Yes I knew they were made of plastic when I pulled them out the package, I pulled the tabs that kept the lights off and the lights instantly came on which I thought was nice I guess, then putting them together the part that goes into the ground that touches the head where light is broke on one of the lights, which is a bad sign. Then first night only 1 light didn't work other 5 worked just fine. A week later and after a small rain storm now only 2 still work. Don't think these lights were worth the money. Next time I'll spend a little extra on bigger lights that give off more light and/or maybe a plug-in brand that seem to last longer.

I received the Mainstays Classic Column Pathway Lighting Set. This was a 6 pack of lights and was surprised that they came in a very small box. That is because they come in 3 parts and have to be put together. I found it was very easy to put them together and to pull the tab out of the battery compartment. They were ready to go outside in only a couple of minutes. They are made very well and looked and felt like they would last. I put them out early in the day so they could be in the sun for a very long time. That first night they were (in my opinion) bright and made the walkway and front patio area bright enough to see to walk to the front door which is nice. They were also bright enough to see from the street. I was very surprised that they lasted for the whole night. Unfortunately, that only lasted for about 3 or 4 nights. I have had the lights for one week now and last night (the 7th night) they lasted for only about 4 ½ hours. That’s it!! Not one or two going bad, but every single one were out after 4 ½ hours. I could not recommend these to anyone as I expect that they will not work much longer

These lights are very delicate, and easily to break with very minimal force to insert into the soil. I purchased 2 pieces to try them. I put outside under sun source for 24hrs before insert into the soil. It didn't light up. The pointy part that to be inserted into the soil is inserted opposite when you purchase so you have to flip it before inserting it. There wasn't clear instruction for this, so I tried to insert without flipping it, the head broke with barely minimal force and scratch my hands. I regret I bought it. I do not recommend to buy.
