Mainstays Black Classic Column Solar Powered LED Path and Garden Light, 2 Lumens

I chose these because their design was gender neutral, simple , and classy. . So happy that I did. They were slimmer than I expected. but pleasantly surprised by the quality quality especially for the price.

These lights were very easy to assemble. They came charged right out of the box. I put them in the flowerbed and took this picture. So I’m sure they’ll get even brighter after charging all day. I love how they look amongst my ferns. Why pay $$ when you can get nice solar lights for much less? I am going to buy more to line my other flower beds. I highly recommend these lights.

When these lights arrived, I chuckled. The box is so teeny-tiny, but I was surprised to find that its only because the lights are extremely well packaged and you put them together in a jiffy. It took me about 3 minutes to open the box, remove the pieces and put them together. One thing I failed to do until afterwards, was remove the orange tab from the bulb. They are a nice size. It is the light pice that slips into the body that slips into the stake...and you're done! I love these lights and on the first night, could hardly wait for it to get dark so see them light up. The light is pretty, just enough to brighten a small area, and they stayed on for quite sometime, I went to bed at 2am and they were still shining bright. I want more!!

For the price, you cannot go wrong with these solar powered pathway lights. Arrived nicely packaged with rechargeable batteries pre-installed and instructions included. Setup was easy and the lights worked right out of the box. Pros: - Provides lots of light for such a small item. - Easy to setup (simply remove battery tab). - Easy to install in the ground (stakes can be pushed in or hammered). - Automatically turns on and off based on ambient light (dusk till dawn). - Nice sleek modern look. - Light stays on the entire night. - If the batteries ever die, they can easily be replaced. Each light has a single 1.2V 2/3AA 150mAh battery. Cons: - Out of the 12 lights, one would not power on. Following the instructions of unscrewing the battery compartment and wiping the battery ends seemed to resolve the issue. However, the light would then flicker a bit. The battery compartment screws had to be tightened down a lot more and then the issue went away. Maybe a loose connection? After cleaning and tightening the screws, the issue went away. - No option or switch to turn the lights off if no longer needed. Not a big deal. Overall, these lights function correctly, provided adequate light, look fantastic, and are easy to setup and install. Definitely would recommend them to anyone looking to light up their garden or walkways with affordable path lights.

We were looking for something that would be easy to install and easy to maintain.. These fit the bill... They are not really bright, so if you are looking for illumination, this really isn't the answer... I would call these more accent lighting.. Think about where you place these because they are solar.. They need good sunlight to charge properly. Pro's: Easy to use.. Solar, so no cords or batteries. Lightweight. Nice looking.. Con's: They are plastic. Not very bright.

I received the Mainstays Classic Column Solar-Powered Landscape Light (1 and 6 Pack). I got the 6 pack. I love these lights! They are TINY and I was concerned at first, but they produce a lot of light. They have a really pretty star pattern of light on the pavement. They are mighty lights for such a little light. Easy to install - just click together, pull the orange tab, and they will charge by the first evening. They light up the sidewalk enough to see nicely. I would not judge them by their small size, they produce a lot of light.

I’ve had some experience with this kind of lanterns... however, this package seems to have more quality. They were very easy to set up and use. They came fully charged. I install this in my pathway and they look very nice at night. I must say that previously I’ve received another package that haven’t any quality at all, and that stop working as soon as one month. I’ve just tried this package for just two weeks and still working, so, I keep my hopes up!!

I received the Mainstays Classic Column Pathway Lighting Set. This was a 6 pack of lights and was surprised that they came in a very small box. That is because they come in 3 parts and have to be put together. I found it was very easy to put them together and to pull the tab out of the battery compartment. They were ready to go outside in only a couple of minutes. They are made very well and looked and felt like they would last. I put them out early in the day so they could be in the sun for a very long time. That first night they were (in my opinion) bright and made the walkway and front patio area bright enough to see to walk to the front door which is nice. They were also bright enough to see from the street. I was very surprised that they lasted for the whole night. Unfortunately, that only lasted for about 3 or 4 nights. I have had the lights for one week now and last night (the 7th night) they lasted for only about 4 ½ hours. That’s it!! Not one or two going bad, but every single one were out after 4 ½ hours. I could not recommend these to anyone as I expect that they will not work much longer

These lights are very delicate, and easily to break with very minimal force to insert into the soil. I purchased 2 pieces to try them. I put outside under sun source for 24hrs before insert into the soil. It didn't light up. The pointy part that to be inserted into the soil is inserted opposite when you purchase so you have to flip it before inserting it. There wasn't clear instruction for this, so I tried to insert without flipping it, the head broke with barely minimal force and scratch my hands. I regret I bought it. I do not recommend to buy.

Needed lights to light the pathway to the back door but sadly though didn't know these lights were as small as they were. Yes I knew they were made of plastic when I pulled them out the package, I pulled the tabs that kept the lights off and the lights instantly came on which I thought was nice I guess, then putting them together the part that goes into the ground that touches the head where light is broke on one of the lights, which is a bad sign. Then first night only 1 light didn't work other 5 worked just fine. A week later and after a small rain storm now only 2 still work. Don't think these lights were worth the money. Next time I'll spend a little extra on bigger lights that give off more light and/or maybe a plug-in brand that seem to last longer.
