Mainstays Black Electric Coffee Grinder

this is a super cool little thing and does what it supposed to. Oh a fun tip - twist turn and down under while you use it the thing to get a even finer grind. wai till it becomes groud though or you might break the thing. the coffee feels extra smooth with no bits on the coffee maker, better than the ground coffee ive been using.

I have had this model for 3 years now and use it every day. It doesn't take up space on the counter with it's cylinder design and you can guage how corse or fine you want the grinds by the amount of time you push down on the cap. It does not come with any small brush to ensure you pouring out the finished grinds. I had a few extra brushes that came with my mustache trimmer and they work perfectly to ensure all the grinds come out while keeping your fingers safe. I have had grinders over the years that cost close to $100 and I could easily match the grind quality and operation. Save your money and pick this one up. Again, I have had mine for over 3 years, and picked this up for my daughter who spends way too much money on coffee chain coffees. The money you would spend on 2 large cups of coffee is less than the cost of the grinder

I have a prescription for medical marijuana and I have tried all types of herb grinders. My arthritis will not allow me to use a handheld grinder. This one works wonderfully, easy to clean, easy to use, perfect size !Everybody would love it if they tried it.

Is it worth the $15. Price tag? Well, it depends on what you need it for… I wanted something that would grind herbs and cinnamon sticks, some nuts and other stuff. While the grinding feature works pretty good and grinds finely, it’s a pain to clean. I wish I had found one with a removable insert to make it easier to clean. So for me it wasn’t worth it as I’m going to be looking for a different type to replace this one with.

Guess it’s worth $15, it is pretty quiet, but doesn’t grind it very fine, if that’s what you are looking for. Takes a little longer to grind than what you would expect. The name brand for $40 is excellent if you really want something worth its while and that will last.

I tried to use this grinder. The button that you push to make it grind doesn't work properly. I think it wasn't centered over the switch mechanism correctly. I pushed it 6 times before it engaged and the grind was horrible. I bought this to grind spices. I should've said no to Walmart substitution of this grinder for a more expensive grinder. I will be returning it.

I really wanted to give this 5 stars because it’s a nice little grinder. The problem is, you push down on a tab on the top edge to grind. If you accidentally drop the top, the tab and a crucial little small piece behind it that engages the grinder breaks off and cannot be repaired/replaced. Most grinders have the push down tab. Look for the grinders like the Hamilton beach that has a screw on locking top and/or the grind button on the base!! I learned a valuable lesson here!

Not worth it! Stoped working within a few months. Tried to file a warranty claim and was bounced around from the manufacturer back to Walmart. Overall horrible customer service (from both parties). At least Amazon has a clear and efficient return policy and better customer service. I’m sticking with Amazon!

I try to make good choices but this was not one of them. Item’s activation mechanism is a plastic pin about the size of a pencil lead (only the oldies will get that). Anyway the pin didn’t break but it also doesn’t get the job done. Second time I went to use this coffee grinder, no matter what I did, nothing happened. Outlet works, button works pin going down but grinder not grinding, it’s d e a d. I didn’t get it wet, I didn’t drop it, I didn’t throw it, I didn’t stuff it full to the brim, I barely put in more than 20 beans yesterday and now it won’t work! Something between where the lame plastic pin hits and the electric outlet is malfunctioning and I’m not about to pull it apart to find out why. Nope, I’m done, it NO WORKY!

First of all it should come with a brush to clean the cover it constantly wont grind becuase grinds block the cover form sitting properly .. then once coffees ground it creates a mess trying to pour in filter
