Mainstays Boucle Mushroom Upholstered Storage Ottoman, Cream

We just received it in the cream/off white color and it just took five minutes to assemble without even looking at the directions. We have recliner furniture in everything except the couch which faces the TV. We needed something had a huge oversized ottoman, but it made the room look crowded. This allows us to now have a coffee table and an ottoman which is perfect. I am considering ordering a second one for the other side of the couch. The walls of the ottoman seem sturdy but I am concerned about how well it will hold up with use over time. It can be sat in, however I would be leary of anyone over 100%23's sitting on it for any length of time

Clever design for the lower half (foldable for easier delivery). Very cute. Soft boucle fabric, but seat itself is a good firm quality. Rust color exactly as pictured

Had this for several months and it's great to have!! I like how easy it is to move around when need to vacuum and it's very functional with the storage. Thinking of getting another but not sure where to put it!

This ottoman has the perfect curve to test my husband's legs on after a full day of being a chef. We have both enjoyed relaxing with these ottomans in our room during our Bible study time.

This is just what I needed for relieving my swollen feet and legs. It is so cute too. haha. Price was just what I wanted to pay, very reasonable. It also has a small storage in the stem. IT IS REALLY CUTE!

This a cute small ottoman. It met my needs with the color, fabric and uniqueness (mushroom shape). However, I wouldn't let anyone other than a small child sit on it.

This ottoman is cute. I love how unique the mushroom design is. The cushion is comfortable to sit on or use as a footrest. It is sturdier than I expected. The only thing that helps it keep its shape is a weighted circle insert that goes into the fabric bottom piece. It has a flat insert that fits in the bottom of the weighted insert to help it keep its shape. The cushion sits on top of the weighted insert. It occasionally shifts when I sit on it, so I prefer to use it as a footrest instead of extra seating. The storage area is small. A couple of small blankets will fit in it. I put an oversized hoodie blanket in mine, and there is still room for another small blanket. My kids (ages 6, 3, and 2) are constantly climbing it and knocking the top off of it. I think this ottoman would be better suited for a home without young children. After a month of using it, the ottoman still has an odd smell that I noticed when I first got it. It's not bad, but it's not pleasant either.

It is so ugly. I like the shape. That's very unique. But the color is gross. Rust looking. And the texture on the top looks like shag carpet. It was very easy to assemble. Literally 5 minutes. And it does have significant storage on the inside. But it doesn't stay together properly so the lid sits crooked. The outside edges of the base cover that are supposed to stay folded over the base don't stay down. They're very wavy and just pop right back up. So it pushes the lid up. But the lid is very plush and so comfortable to throw your feet on. Id like shoes that felt like that top. If the color and the shag carpet like top was changed and the fold issue addressed I'd like to have it the living room. But I see it now it's more of an end table/storage/ footstool for a kids room or dorm.

It's kinda iffy. It's not the best made product, as it's pretty flimsy and the way your put it together was very weird. Reminded me of the fabric cubes for cube shelves. The fabric on this is similar to fake Sherpa that's been dried too many times in the dryer. I wasn't a fan. The idea was cute. But it's a no for me. My photos are of it being outside because my kids wouldn't stop jumping off it and using it to nearly die on. So there's Rollie pollies on it.

The base of the stool is extremely flimsy and wobbly, you HAVE to fill the inside to the top to make it sturdy with anything from blankets, towels, toys, etc. and the top of the footstool has no secure way of staying attached at all, it is free floating and constantly moves/shifts around. If I had known all this before purchasing I wouldn't have bought it! over priced for what it is.
