I needed something to make it easier to stand on the tile floor in front of the kitchen sink. So I got this Mainstays Kitchen Mat at Walmart, my “go to first” store as they have just about everything that I need at reasonable prices. This mat measures 20½” x 31½”, is woven and is made of polypropylene & polyester material. It is machine washable BUT DON’T put it in your dryer. Instead hang it out to dry. We think it is quite attractive (see my attached picture) in a multicolored check pattern with a wreath bordered over in the center that says “HOME.” Best yet is that this mat does make standing in front of the sink much more comfortable. Good looks, reasonably priced and delivers the desired comfort; of course I recommend it! Hopefully I can get my Chief Financial Officer (aka wife) to spring for another mat to put in front of my work bench😊

The rug is sturdy. It's not the most attractive. It is heavy duty. It's needed for the kitchen traffic we have.

I'm using this mat in front of our sink on wood flooring; it stays put for the most part; it does move a little but not much to get on your nerves; it looks great in the kitchen with its vibrant colors, offers great area protection, is comfortable to stand on, and is incredibly durable. I believe it's fantastic, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality kitchen mat.
