Mainstays Charcoal Odor Eliminator for Closets, Fragrance-Free, 17 oz, 6-Pack

Container was too big to fit inside my antique tobacco pipe cabinet. So I put some in baggies and set them inside with to bag tops open and shut the door. A week later the "old wood smell" was gone. Used some Old English scratch cover on it and its good to go. Cant wait to mount it on the wall and get my pipes in it.

My neighbor filled the hallway of the sixth floor apartment building I reside in with smoke from overcooked food. The smell was terrible. I bought this hoping they would work. They did! I placed two in the hallway and the rest in my apartment. It took about three weeks because the smoke had been very thick. The fire department had to suck it out with a machine. But they work!!! Highly recommend!!!

This really does work to suck up odors. We had a lot of musty smells in our new home after our stuff sit in storage for 6 months. This took the smell away within a few days. It has a pleasant scent that you can't really smell unless you get super close to it.

this comes in clutch with litter box funk! it was crazy to experience when I was walking near my kitten in the middle of her taking a dookie and the stink was veeeeery faint instead of a smack in the face. Super happy with it.

This thing works! We put in our RV bathroom after it sat all summer and it had a nasty funky smell. It improved within hours and was completely gone within days. Definitely a repeat purchase.

There is no scent. A squirrel got trapped in my office wall. Smelled awful. If I left the door closed, the smell got worse. I purchased these charcoal odor eliminators out of desperation. The smell got much better. I know it's gone completely, but sometimes when I open the closet door I can still smell the squirrel. There is no smell left but my brain won't accept that. I know the smell is gone, my cat no longer will try to get into that closet. He was annoying. I do recommend the purchase of the odor eliminators. You get 6. One lasts a very long time.

Do not sleep on these. I literally put these out last night (my second round) and the smell was gone this morning. They work so well I always have a backstock of them. This is my second 6 pack. These are perfect for next to the litter box, under the sink, in the closet, by the hamper (name it). They last for a long time too Honestly, they don't really smell like anything. If you really try you can make out charcoal but they're not going to add a scent to the space, just remove nasty ones. They immediately wipe out the scent of rot while we wait to replace old cabinetry. Just be careful when you take the top off, there is a little bit of liquid in there and that can splash, easy to clean up if that happens though.

Personally I like the fact that there is no scent. I don't like to just cover up odors. I can not yet say whether it helps eliminate odors or not as I have just started using it. If I purchase it again then you will know it worked and I will give a more informative review at that time.
