Mainstays Chunky Chenille Yarn, 31.7 yd, Charcoal Grey, 100% Polyester, Super Bulky

Used a social media app for instructions to make these beautiful Christmas Trees. The color is good and it's so soft. 1 skein, 2 heavy poster boards and a hot glue gun is all you need. One skein of your favorite color will make 1 large, 1 medium and 1 small Christmas tree.

I purchased this yarn for a particular Christmas project. My ideas were brought to reality as soon as I finished the last weave through on my Christmas Tree Collar with this super fluffy yarn! It worked out perfectly for this project and is extremely comfy so a blanket project will be in my very near future will some more of this yarn!

I really liked working with this yarn. The Mainstays Chunky Chenille Yarn is soft, thick, and easy to handle, which made it perfect for a quick project. I used it to make a cat enrichment toy, and the super bulky texture worked great for creating something sturdy and engaging. The olive color is rich and attractive, and the yarn held up well while I was working with it. Overall, it is a solid choice for simple, fun projects that need a plush feel and fast results.

I used 12 rolls of this to make a twin sized blanket for my mother who just went into a nursing home. I was not able to get matching die lots so there were slight variations in the color between the balls. But it turned out really well I did this using the wooden knitting loom method.

I made a blanket with this color, burgundy and pink it was very sturdy even though I was tugging a little hard to make the loops after I finished the blanket. I washed it and cold water and I dried it with cool air and it's beautiful. I love it and it smells so good and it's so warm and now everybody wants me to make them one. As a crafter, I will be using the yarn to embellish craft projects

Two of the eight skeins of yarn were of poor quality. One had black dirt embedded in the yarn that wasn’t noticeable until the of the skein. The other yarn had many defects throughout. This is the first time this has ever happened, but other yarns I’ve purchased were perfect. The price of the yarn is great.

The yarn is very soft, but the quality is not as high as comparable brand-name options. While finger-knitting a blanket, I noticed slight color transfer that faintly stained my fingernails, which has never happened to me with other yarns. The color also varies from skein to skein, but I am new to knitting with solid colors, so that may be normal. Even so, I would still recommend it since the price is very budget-friendly.

There is a big inconsistency in the quality of the yarn. The first skinny I used was nice and thick chenille. But the second scheme I opened was not nearly as fluffy and is visibly different in the blanket I was making. It was an affordable yarn, but buyer beware be sure that you check each skiing so that you have consistent fluffiness.

Walmart once again, sent me t he wrong product! they sent me baby bottle brushes! instead of this yarn.... the yarn i needed is actually very soft and nice.. love the color... but, they did not send me th he correct item and when i tried to return it, was told to take it to the store i ordered it from... the app says return to ANY Walmart.... not true.. they won't let you do that regardless!
