Mainstays Clear Glossy Plastic Extra Tall Shoe Box with Lid, Adult Size

Perfect for displaying collectibles. Crystal clear, roomy. Great price--much less expensive than equivalents. I will definitely buy more for displaying and keeping collectibles dust-free. Much easier to dust this box than whatever I'm displaying, especially when it come to fabric or fibers. Using mine to display my wedding shoEd. This would be great for displaying your favorite vintage collectible stuffed toy, fiber art, fabric clothed doll or action figure, and shoes. I'm very pleased and give it 5 stars.

This is an extra big clear shoe box and storage container for boots, shoes, slippers, sandals and high heels. It will hold a lot if you want to put several pairs in there. The material that it is made of is stronger than other boxes I've had and they just cracked easily but this one doesn't seem like it would. I love the lid too, just the way it fits into the box is very nice. I think it is stackable too which is a nice feature. I like it so much that I just may have to order some online, that way I won't have to go into the store during the pandemic, it is so convenient buying online isn't it? Anyways, I would definitely recommend this nice shoe box to friends and family.

My important papers, documents, photos, and memorabilia fit perfectly into this mainstays extra tall clear shoe box. No more cramming stuff into a tacky cardboard shoe box. It fits nicely on top of my other storage containers.

Initially I was going to use this item for its intended purpose but once I took a look at the box, I thought of many uses for it. Since my husband and I collect and breed praying mantids and a few other beneficial insects, we would use this as a insect habitat. It is very clear, lightweight and alre already has some ventilation holes. We added a vent in the lid for extra airflow. I would recommend this for small lizards, spiders, and arthropods. It would also make an excellent display case for memorabilia.

My husband works in a chemical plant and has to wear work boots. Those boots get covered in all kind of substances and I don’t like them in the house. They fit perfectly into this clear box so he can see where they are, but the dog can’t lick the powders off of them. The box does have air holes on each of the longer sides so it has some ventilation. No worrying about the shoes just sitting in the box getting smelly. I do wish the lid clicked into place rather than just sitting on top, but that’s my only con.

I didn’t use these for shoes…but they are great for organizing closet clutter. I have so many different items for my pets. I love that I can see through these containers to quickly find what I need and that they have lids that protect my items from dust and wear.

This is a great shoe box. It is not like other cheap foldable plastic ones. The size is good for any large size shoes, sneakers or boots, and it can easily fit two small size shoes as well (my shoe size is 7). The box dimensions are 10.5(width) x 14.75(depth) x 8.25(height) in inches. It came assembled. It has small holes on both sides for air so shoes won’t get ruined in the heat or cold. It is transparent, so you can see which shoes are inside without having to open it. I currently only own one, but it looks stackable if I wanted to buy more in future. It has a lid on the top, which I think is decent, but would be better if the opening was from the side as that would provide easier access. These are perfect storage boxes, not just for shoes, but also to organize a lot of other stuff . These are perfect to keep the dust and dirt off my shoes.

The mainstays clear x-tall box is just that. I can easily fit 2 pair of shoes in one box. This will be a tremendous help in organizing my closet. The clear design makes it easy to see what is in the box and I will be able to stack the boxes with like pairs of shoes. There are some air vent holes on one side to prevent moisture buildup, but keep dust out at the same time. The only minus is the lid does not "snap" in place, but acts more like an insert.

Over time we all seems to accumulate many pairs of shoes. With having so many pairs of shoes/boots storage and organization is not always simple. I thought this would be the start to help me getting my shoes/ boots organized. I had hopes for this Extra-Tall Clear Shoe Box with lid. It did meet the needs of holding tall shoes or boots. The measurements of this shoe box is 10 1/2 inches wide by 14 3/4 inches deep by 8 1/4 inches high. This is a clear plastic box with a lid and vent holes. As you call see in my pictures I was able to put a pair of high top shoes and a pair of black calf high boots in the box and still put the lid on the box. The fact that this is clear plastic make it great to see the contents of the box, the box is able to be stacked if you have more then one. Where my concern lies is if you have a few of these stacked and you want something from the bottom box you would have to unstack and move all the boxes. I would have much rather instead of a lid for the box to have a front opening on these boxes to be able to get your foot wear without having to unstack the whole thing.

I’m torn on this box. It’s sturdy and well made. And my feet are small, so I can fit two pairs of shoes in each box. My only qualm is that the lid opens from the top. So if you stack the boxes you have to unstack them all to get to the one you want and open it. If the lid folded down from the front you wouldn’t have to do that. It would be much less time consuming and functional.
