Mainstays Comfort Can Opener

I like how easy this can opener is to use. I have arthritis in my hands so sometimes it's hard to grip things. This opener is easy and soft to grip and open cans without causing any stress or pain with my hands. It grabs onto the cans well so they don't slip off, or cause any issues.

This can opener is SUPER smooth! I was getting really tired of struggling to open cans with my old can opener. It would always miss a couple of spots and I would have to bend the lid to get the contents out or pry the can open. This can opener works so well! It is like going from driving a hooptie to driving a Cadillac. I haven't found anything wrong with it yet.

I have a mainstays can opener that is about 8 years old and it's always worked better than any more expensive name brand opener. I needed a second and made the mistake of buying a brand name one with a grocery order from our chain grocery store. It never worked correctly from the first use, warping cans and getting stuck. I'm thrilled to have this one. Does a wonderful job. And after some soaking my 8 year old one looks like and functions like it's brand new. Bravo!!

I have enjoyed the MS COMFORT CAN OPENER. It has a nice grip to the can and an easy turn opening. No strain on the wrist, no slip on the can. It is a reasonable price and appears to be made well. I think it will last a long time. I throw rinse under hot water after using, then throw it in the dishwasher every few weeks.

For a Manual Can Opener it can't be beat. It is very comfortable and very easy to use. Also easy to clean. I got rid of my electric can opener because it was a pain to clean and took up precious counter space. Instead, this is stashed in my cutlery drawer and is easy to grab and use. Opens cans up better than my electric one that kept slipping.

Absolutely the most comfortable manual can opener I've ever had! The opener is really smooth when opening cans and the handle along with the turning knob are padded and super easy to use! It's great for someone who has weaker hands or arthritis. This opener is great quality and very well made. I've purchased a few of these for my older friends, too! I had to order this online since I couldn't find it in the local store.

This can opener is very easy to use. I have arthritis and I am always looking for kitchen tools that are easy on my hands. This can opener is perfect for me. It was very easy to put on the cans and clamp down, it took no effort at all. I had no trouble turning the handle to open the lid on the cans. I was pleasantly surprised. Hands down, this is the best hand held can opener that I have ever used or owned. I have an electric can opener which isn't the best one out there, but keep it because I have arthritis and find it easier to use than a hand held opener. The quality of this opener is good. It's not cheaply made. Piercing a can was easy. Opening the can took less than 20 seconds to complete from start to finish. I did not feel any sort of pressure or pain in my hands while using it. I am completely happy with this product and would recommend it.

My husband and I both love this Mainstays Soft Grip Can Opener. I have had multiple can openers over the years, most of them do not work well. This can opener, however, is the best of all we have used. It works better than any other we have ever tried. It is heavier made than the others, easy to use, doesn't take up much space in our cabinet drawer, and was made for people like us with our age related arthritis. I highly recommend the Ms. Comfort Can Opener. Thank you Main Stays for a can opener made just for us, easy to use, that opens the cans well, takes up less space in our kitchen drawer, and I wanted to say, we will be getting rid of our other can openers now because we found the best with Ms. Comfort Can Opener. The durability of this can opener is the best also. It truly is comfortable to use this can opener, thus Ms. Comfort is a wonderful name for it. I would say too any person looking for a can opener that is comfortable to use, takes less space, works great, and easy to use, this is the can opener for you. This Mainstay can opener with comfort handles is gentle on my arthritic fingers. It can open most cans and cleans up easily...I haven't had it very long or used it that often so I can't comment on it's longevity. I would recommended having it..... even if it's just a spare.
