Mainstays Executive Ergonomic High Back Home Office Desk Chair, Black

I purchased this chair directly from my local Walmart a little over a month ago. It was easy to assemble and priced just right. The directions were very clear and I had it put together in less than an hour. The only tricky part were the arm rests. It may take a few minutes to get the screws in the holes just right. Once that is done, though, it’s ready to go. I sit in it every day for several hours, and it is very comfortable. The cushioning feels great on my back. I have even nodded off in it a few times. I am a larger sized person, too. I definitely recommend this chair!

i assembled this chair straight out of the box in my front yard, it was packaged very well, the hardware to assemble it was labeled and easy to understand, it took me about 30 minutes to finish it and i am 66 years old, i give a tip, make sure you do not tighten the bolts that attach the arm rests to the seat and back until you have all of them started at least half way then tighten them all to 100%, make sure they are as tight as you can get them, if not it will creak and you will not be happy, LOL

I have always hated assembling items but this chair was the easiest I have ever assembled. I am 74 years old and it is very hard for me to kneel down and get up again, but this chair was so easy.I used a small end table to assemble the chair while sitting in a ckair. would recemend to all especially the elderly. thank you!!!

This chair is very affordable and sturdy. It took me about 1 hour to put together and the instructions and packaging were easy to follow. When assembling it is helpful to have another person— but you can do it solo. . My husband loved it. Great chair especially for the price

The chair looks very nice. The vinyl/leather is soft and comfortable to the touch. The metal legs seem to be sturdy and the seat is wide. The biggest complaint I have is the assembly. Someone with a power drill/screwdriver might have had better luck, but using the Allen wrench that came with it was a very slow go. The chair came TOTALLY unassembled, unlike chairs I'd bought in the past. I mean, NOTHING was attached to ANYTHING. It took me two hours to get it together, and I still can't use it until I can find someone stronger than I am (or someone with a power tool) who can go over it and tighten up all the screws for me. I have nothing against the chair itself...but putting it together (for me - a 62 year old disabled woman) was a nightmare. Of course, I guess I could have paid Walmart $54 to have it assembled, but I thought I could handle it on my own. I never expected it to be so hard, since I'd never had any trouble like that in the past. Manufacturers should think of older folks when designing DIY furniture.

The materials were packed into a secret compartment to save space to save money. Not only were they trying to make more money in this, they have the cheapest, poorest quality zipper I havevever seen. Genius engineering is not genius. Nowhave wasted a bunch of time, money and effort! Horrible

claims to have large back size but is perfect size for someone 4 foot tall. sits high enough for level knees for 6 ft tall and doesn't go any lower, my shoulders reach the top of the back rest. the back rest is made of air and is completely hollowed out internally, the back support consists of two 2 inch wide straps with stuffing inside the fabric. there is literally no support. one day of use left my back aching. a lawn chair is a massive improvement over this falsely advertised scam artist chair. whoever manufactures this should be stuffed inside the chair and buried.

This product is horrible, there is no back support, the wide back support you see is actually empty with no foam or sponge , I literally got my back hurting within few days

This chair is an absolute pile of garbage. The backrest is hollow and the empty space was used to save space in the box for the hardware. Metal legs bent almost immediate when my 100 pound child sat in the chair. Chair dimensions are also much smaller than listed. Leave it to walmart to sell you an absolute useless product. Returning immediately and never buying another product from this company.

This chair may look decent and sound appealing with the "ergonomic" claim, but it is horribly uncomfortable. The seat cushion is that of a $30 chair, and the back support is non-existent. Maybe this chair would be OK for a child, but absolutely NOT recommended for a bigger adult (I'm 6' tall and 230 lbs).
