Mainstays Extra Thick Waterproof Mattress Pad, Full 54 in x 75 in

I bought this thinking I was getting a mattress protector. It was a pleasant opps though. This mattress pad added extra softness and makes you feel like you're being cuddled by your mattress. It fit great and stays in place. And it is waterproof, so it should help keep the mattress clean still. My only caution is that it does tend to hold more heat on your body, though - so if you prefer a cooler sleep, this might not be for you. But otherwise, would highly recommend for those looking to add a little comfort to their mattress.

Sometimes my grandson is in my bed and of course, some things can happen like spills or maybe he's young. He might pee to bed. So waterproof was my main reason for buying this, but it's surpassed my idea of how good it would really be. I washed it twice now it's held up nicely in a normal wash. I even put it in the dryer. I still have not had a problem. It looks nice. It's nice on the bed. It's comfortable doesn't feel like it's waterproof. It feels nice highly recommend us.

I have this on my bed bought a several years ago. Holding up really well. It’s soft comfortable and washes well. Well made and Looks great and is still pristine white. Just bought another one for guest bedroom. I don’t use it for any fluid so can’t speak to that. I have a 4 1/2 inch topper on my bed and elastic fits over that and thick mattress.

Lol.. tmi but I bought this specifically because I hate laying in the "wet spot" or having to scrub and dry my bed after or having to dry my bed after my daughter sippy cup drips everywhere. This is a great alternative if your child wets the bed and so on. I do already have a pillow top mattress which is comfy but I can tell the difference in my bed since I've added this cover to it. Don't think that this is goin to be thick like the memory foam covers they have because it's not but I can definitely tell the difference in my bed. It also stays in the bed !!! I literally hate having to keep having to put my sheets on my bed because they keep sliding or what ever so I use jersey sheets now but the mattress cover literally doesn't move and it doesn't make noise like the plastic bed covers (annoying)

We just purchased a new bed so we wanted to protect the mattress with a waterproof cover, with the pets or granddaughter anything can happen, it's nice to be able to pull the protector and throw it in the washer and clean it up. The sheet were wonderful so soft and comfortable and with the type of fabric and warm when you jump into bed in Winter. I definitely will buy more.

It's not extra thick but thick like most mattress pads. Based on negative reviews I took a glass of water poured it on the pad. Then waited. I didn't see leak through. So hoping it stays this way. It fit the mattress perfectly. Easy to put on. So far so good! Great value for the quality. It's just not extra thick as advertised.

We were looking for a basic king mattress pad to go over our mattress and 4 inch topper at a total of 15 inches. This doesn't fit well even though in the description it says it will fit up to 18 inches. I bought this one since I thought it would add a little padding to our 4 inch firm memory foam topper to ease our back pain but we will see if it helps but if you're looking for a soft plush mattress pad, I don't think this is it. But it is a nice mattress pad. Just not deep pocket enough for us.

The positive points : Its soft and seems durable. packaged extremely well, arrived as scheduled. Negatives: Looking at the photo advertisement it appears to be thick," I got confused , I wanted a mattress topper it does state Pad I get it but that photo was a bit of a marketing tactic . i fell for it ,, lol .. closing :its a nice Pad I thought a pad was the same as a topper ?? I was wrong, still happy with my purchase .

This matress topper is only about a half an inch thick... it is NOT EXTRA THICK IN ANY WAY. i thought i was ordering a super thick topper (16 inches) from the online description. The packaging only says its extra thick but does not say how thick it actually is. i need at minimum 4-5 inches so i will be returning this one.

The thickness and soft feel of this item is nice, not swishy sounding or loud like other mattress liners. But, it's not at all waterproof. I wouldn't even call it water resistant. My toddler had a small overnight accident, barely any pee but it still soaked right through this ‘waterproof' liner
