Mainstays Folding Metal Clothes Drying Rack, Silver

The assembly of this rack was super simple. Only took 4 minutes with one person. I love how it folds down to be super compact and slide under the bed for storage when not in use. I am a little concerned with how well it will hold up to wet, heavyweight sweaters come winter time, but for spring and summer clothes it has been great!

The drying rack is very easy to assemble and you can take it apart or leave it standing when not in use. I was able to dry about 5 shirts and pants, and ten bras and panties without any overlay or needing to rotate any clothes. I am glad I made this purchase. I would recommend to a friend.

Very sturdy and much larger than the collapsible one I previously owned. This one is great, but note that it doesn't collapse. You'd have to take it apart, which isn't hard, but not as easy as collapsible ones. The pieces just snap together.

Worried this would be cheap but it's stable and looks nice.

This drying rack is very high but is very useful for drying when one can't hang it outdoors. I have a very nice shower area that works very nicely. I use it often.

This oversized drying rack is a great addition to have if you like to hang your “special “ clothes up to dry instead of throwing them in a dryer to shrink. It truly is oversized and you can easily drape a pair of jeans over the top without them touching the floor. That bars are spaced out enough to allow the clothes to dry properly and the rack itself seems to be fairly sturdy. Last but not least, I have to say this was very very easy to put together. It requires no tools, and the bars fit perfectly into each notch.

This rack is awesome. Super sturdy. I have a wooden one that I use currently (also by Mainstays). This one is made of metal. The size is definitely bigger than the standard drying rack. You can see the difference in the amount of clothes that you can fit on this rack by looking at the attached pictures. Added bonus, you can use the top rack to hang clothes or fold them when they are dry. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the whole folding aspect. It's advertised as one that folds but I can't figure out how to actually get it folded! No..before anyone asks...there were no instructions about folding this either. So, if you have limited space, this may not be the best fit for you because it may or may not actually collapse.

This product is not that good. The only reason I did not return this product is that I need a very large drying rack and am on a budget and I could not afford anything better. The reason it is not a good drying rack is for people who want to collapse it after every time they use it. It is extremely difficult to unlatch the top bar when you want to collapse it. I had to turn it upside down and step on it with my foot the get the top bar to unlatch. It is also very difficult to attach the top bar to use. I had to turn it on its side to attach the top bar to use. Other drying rack that are more expensive do not have these problems. They easily collapse and attach very easily.

This has fairly sturdy metal bars but the plastic connectors are garbage. The plastic connectors began breaking off from the start. In the beginning we re-glued them but it's not worth it anymore. More are broken than not and we're careful with it. It's not the weight of clothes, it can just be barely tapped and the rods come out of their sockets and the connectors break off, often leaving the disks in the socket. I wish someone would make a sturdy drying rack. In my experience, the "deluxe" and "heavy duty" ones have been worse than the cheap basic ones.
