The Mainstays Grey Flannel Drawstring Canvas Laundry Bag is one tough customer. The package says it will hold two loads of laundry. Well, I decided to test it out. Upon removal from the package and opening the bag, I found that it was well structured and very sturdy. The drawstring is also thick and sturdy. Next, I loaded it up with all the laundry from the laundry hamper (work jeans, shirts, underwear, socks, etc.). Then, I closed the drawstring and picked up the bag. WOW! it actually held all that laundry without a problem and without the drawstring lock coming loose! Next, I acted like a typical teenager and threw it down the stairs to the basement where the laundry room is and, it held up - no problem. So, if you are looking for a sturdy laundry bag to haul you dirty laundry to the laundry room or laundromat, this is the one for you!

Love it!! This Laundry bag is huge!! I'm using it for travel laundry and it's perfect. It's well made, with nice thick material. The inside seam is bound with material, which is awsome for durability. Super large size holds days of laundry for 2 people.

This Mainstays drawstring laundry bag is an excellent laundry bag; it definitely would hold two full wash loads of clothes. I wouldn't describe it as "flannel"; to me, it's more like soft denim, but very sturdy material. Aside from laundry, it's a versatile bag that can be used for a variety of projects needing containment; from soccer balls, footballs, basketballs. You could put camping equipment together to keep as a set; like a tent, a sleeping bag, sleeping pad and pillow. (Use them as a "grab & go" unit for your sports or camping needs. It washes good and comes out of the dryer without wrinkles. The only "minor" flaw (that's fixable very quickly) is...like most bags, pouches, etc that have drawstring cords, the manufacturer never seems to reinforce the openings where the cords are tightened. And I'm sure most of you have experienced the constant openings, closings, rough-handling that a sports bag like this takes...which eventually results in the seams being torn apart at the openings where the cords are at the hem. The fix: reinforce the openings with a few simple stitches of thread. It'll strengthen that part and prevents the hem from falling apart...resulting in the hem stitching to unravel. Great bag!

This is one large laundry bag! The bag is a nice grey color and is made of a polyester/cotton blend material. It is machine washable with warm like colors, tumble dry at a moderate temperature. I wanted to see how it held up in the washing machine so I washed it. It kept its shape and dried wrinkle free. The material is soft but yet very durable and has a drawstring which has a locking clasp that keeps the drawstring tightly secured. It will easily fit two loads of clothes with room to spare. This will be a great addition to my traveling suitcase which will be used for my soiled laundry and easily transported to the laundromat. I will also be using this laundry bag in my spare bedroom for a guest to use while visiting. I highly recommend this product!

The Mainstays Grey Flannel Drawstring Canvas Laundry Bag is a great size laundry bag. It is large enough to hold two loads of laundry or on a trip could easily hold a week of dirty laundry. The heavy material is nice for holding items that may be damp or smelly yet it does not easily absorb the odors. Another benefit of the heavy canvas material is that it is durable and even when carrying items like detergent boxes in the bag, you do not have to worry about the corners of the boxes tearing the bag. The lightweight construction, even though the fabric is heavy duty, and rope handle make it easy to carry around as needed. It is nice for business travelers, college kids bringing laundry home to mom, or just holding laundry in your closet before taking it to your washing machine. The 28 inch by 36 inch dimensions are substantial and make this a great size laundry bag. I have not done this, but a friend of mine uses laundry bags as covers for child car seats and this one would be good for that as it is soft yet protective. I recommend this laundry bag to anyone searching for a good one.

We love this Mainstays laundry bag. It is a heavy weight canvas fabric which should be sturdy for a long time. It is very large and can easily hold two loads of laundry. The only draw back is that it holds so much it's very heavy to pick and carry. This would be great for a college dorm, a laundry bag for a kids bedroom, or a laundry bag if one does their laundry at a laundry mat. If you are looking for a laundry bag may I suggest this one, it is large and sturdy!

This laundry bag is made to have a long time. The material is strong, but it is the kind where air can get through it. The color is very nice, a medium gray color. It is light, and has a strong tie rope on it, with a plastic stopper to close it up. Made to hold a full load of laundry.

The laundry bag is just what I really needed to put my dirty laundry in until time for me to do my laundry. I don't have to use a laundry basket or garbage bags to put my soiled laundry in. I used my laundry bag today when I went to the laundry mat and I put my clean clothes in and it is better than the clothes basket because with the clothes basket your clothes is open to the air and dirt floating in the air. The laundry bag is heavy and have a nice draw string which makes it easier to handle. The laundry bag is made up of a heavy fabric material and you can machine wash. The laundry bag takes up very little space in my closet. I would recommend the laundry bag to every home, you can use the laundry bag as a overnight bag, you can use it to put your children's toys in it to keep up with them to prevent them from being all over the floor. The laundry bag will last a lifetime over the laundry baskets, get your laundry bag and you will see the difference it will be to you.

This is the nicest looking bag I've seen. I just downsized so I need to be lugging my dirty laundry up and down my one bedroom apartment. This is so perfect and huge so it holds most of my dirty clothes of one to two weeks. Plus I loved the color and looks so pretty. Instead of using those white trash bags I've been using. Lol. Perfect for college students!

When we travel we typically put our dirty laundry in whatever plastic bag we can find. This bag is perfect for travel. It folds up small and I have already put it in a roll aboard bag side pocket. It is a little bigger that the perfect travel bag and I think any 3 day old smell would come right through, but it is a sturdy bag with a heavy draw string that has a slide lock on it to prevent spillage. Ready for our next adventure.
