Mainstays Hillside Square Tufted Upholstered Queen Platform Bed, Ivory Fabric

I read a lot of reviews talking about a leg in the center/side of the bed not being sturdy. I personally do not agree. I bought anyway. My room is tile. We assembled with ease. We bought a king about a month ago. We picked the bed up and moved it where we wanted it( we did not drag it like 90% of the people in these reviews) and we absolutely love it and have no problem. The kids are jumping on it we are sleeping great. 10/10 would recommend. Shipping was very fast we bought and received within 12 hours.

Beds look good, however, I didn't have them for a week before the leg in the middle of the bed broke off. Once these beds are put together, you have to be gentle with them. The center outside legs are PLASTIC. If the had been metal, these beds would be great. Instead, they will not last long. One of the two beds I bought now has a wooden box under one side of it because there is no way to repair the broken leg. If your kids shift the bed in the least, the plastic leg starts to buckle - once these beds plastic is strained, it's only a matter of time before you have to prop up the bed so it doesn't collapse completely.

The bed frame itself is nice, but unfortunately it arrived missing all of the bolts, washers, and screws needed for assembly. When we contacted Walmart for assistance, we were told to reach out to the manufacturer. Unfortunately, the manufacturer was closed, leaving us without a way to obtain the missing hardware in a timely manner. As a result, we had to spend an additional $68 at Lowe's to purchase the necessary parts ourselves so we could assemble the bed frame. Had all of the required hardware been included as advertised, assembly would have been quick and easy. The missing parts caused unnecessary expense, inconvenience, and frustration.

The medium support legs and bottom legs are made of plastic, and they don’t attach to the frame in a sturdy way. The wooden slats that go under the mattress are also cut to the wrong size. If it weren’t such a hassle to take everything apart, I would have returned it.

The product itself looks beautiful, however the sturdiness is a joke. Bought the bed for the spare bedroom, so it was very rarely used. After only 7 months, my son ended up using it for a few nights ( weights just over 100lbs) and the middle leg snapped. The middle leg of the bed framed completely caved in. The framed has a one year warranty, but when contacting the manufacturer, they tell you they only handle small appliances and that was it. Told me to contact Walmart. As the product is a mainstays product and the warranty is through the manufacturer, that is who Walmart directs you to. Just throw your money in the garbage, it amounts to the same thing. No one helps you, only sends you in circles saying to contact someone else.

I bought a twin and a full frame to match in my guest room. The full came within a couple days and had a lengthy assembly but was sturdy once assembled. The twin never came and I had to reach out to support to receive it. Once received, my husband and I put this together relatively quickly, but it seemed more cheaply put together. The first time a child sat on this bed, the plastic support on one side caved. We now have to engineer a support for this frame so that it’s usable and matches the other frame we bought. Very cheap and very disappointing

we have had this bed frame for less than 6 months for my 3 year old who is only 31 pounds. It snapped in the middle of the frame (where the two pieces connect) with light use. I don’t recommend this product.

My elderly mom has used this for all of three months. She’s not heavy and she doesn’t bounce on the bed. Two of the (plastic) legs have bent/collapsed. Not sturdy at all.

These beds are beautiful, but super flimsy and made cheap. I'm nervous to have an adult sleep on it and the quality is so poor that I'm nervous the plastic legs will give out. My child jumped on their bed as most kids do, and the plastic leg snapped in half. Also, the base part is crooked no matter how tight you tighten the screws. Beautiful but not practical or useful. Really unhappy with the quality.

The plastic legs holding up the middle of the bed are a bad design. One of them has already broken, causing the bed to dip on one side. We’ve only had the bed for 3 months and it is not regularly slept on. Please see attached pictures and advise about a replacement.
