Mainstays Kitchen Trash Can, 13 Gallon Plastic Garbage Bin with Swing Top Lid with Trash Bag

I was looking for a basic kitchen trashcan, and this is it. It's just basic, sturdy, and I like that you can lightly touch the top and drop the trash in. It's absolutely worth the money, really good value. I wish it came in some other colors. I would purchase a few more.

I was given a beautifully expensive trash can. Step on bottom to raise lid, nice and shiny metal, and an insert trash compartment, blah blah blah. All these fancy trash cans are just ridiculous. They are heavy, kids already bent the metal can, insert trash compartment is more trouble trying to pull out... I love a nice, tall, simple trash can that I can easily maneuver around the kitchen as needed. I threw the other one out and got this. It's perfect!

Steralite for me has been a. solid brand and this trash can seems like it lives up. to. that expectation. It's insane to even be writing this but here it goes! So I have literally been looking for 6 months for a trash can! I couldn't find one I wanted that was under $30! Most were over $50 but not good old Steralite! This was not only totally affordable but it was priced at a value, to me! I'm very happy thank you Walmart and Steralite for still carrying affordable household trash cans 😂!

Love this product! Just the right size and color for my kitchen . I previously used an open top one and replaced it with this one due my 2 year old grandson who thought he was a trash man🙂. The lid was a life saver with his going into the trash. Opening and closing is such a breeze. My grandson found out that little hands don't belong in the trash easily when he got caught by the arm.😂

It's a great trash can for the price! It's sturdy, the size is perfect for my space, the lid swings open better than my last one, and the opening is wide. Great value for the price, and it looks nicer on my gray wood floors than my old white one. Happy!

So much better than Rubbermaid, in every single feature! Especially not having to stretch the 13 gallon plastic trash bag anymore. The lid is flawless In its design. Your purchasing dept. did a superior job in buying, stocking this one! Well done Walmart!

yes, we all need trash cans. This one is perfect for my household and we all like it. The trash can does not take up too much space or fits right where we needed it to. I like the swing top lid bit is so much easier and this way nobody has to look at our trash. It holds our trash nicely and it doesn't fall out all over the place which is a big plus so this mainstays trash can is where it is going to stay my home.

So far so good. This garbage can or kitchen garbage can or garage garbage can or whatever you're gonna use it for I like the size of it. The pedal will work perfect along with the lid. However, I'm using this for my downstairs bathroom because I'm tired of the small dinky size bathroom garbage cans that they give or sell. So people may say it's tacky, but I'm using this for my bathroom so that we can get better use the garbage can and use it for more items.

Lid is not swivel not mainstays and is too big for this can. It is very disappointing. Walmart needs to ensure product ordered is product delivered. Accuracy has been the reason for shopping at Walmart but I think with this, I will go elsewhere and do my shopping.

Didn't get it and this is the second time I have ordered the same trash can the first order I made for the trashcan. It had the wrong lid and that was the whole point of why I ordered it because it had a swing lid on it so then I ordered it again today and to my disappointment it wasn't in stock I guess so. I'm gonna try to order it again at some point so I hope it gets in stock.
