The Mainstays Swing Top Wastebasket in gray is the perfect fit for underneath my countertop. It is small enough to fit there but also is just the right size for no trash overload in my kitchen. The bigger the can the smellier the can because there is more trash in it just hanging around waiting to be brought out to the big can outside. This new Mainstays Swing Top Wastebasket has replaced my old Mainstays wastebasket that is over 10 years old. I think that it may be around 15 years old. The Mainstays Swing Top wastebaskets are really affordable and durable. They do last for years under normal indoor use with no damage. I got the 2 pack so I could use the other one in my shed.

We got this set of 2 Mainstays 13 gallon gray Trash cans. These are very good trash cans. They are the standard size cans that I always use and the 13 gallon trash bags fit perfectly inside these cans. I especially like the height these cans have. I also really like the swing top lid that these trash cans have. It is the looser type, so if you are throwing away a plate with food on it, the swing top lid does not accidentally wipe onto the plate and get food all over the trash can lid. Also, since it is a looser swing top lid, you can easily push it open with your wrist to throw the garbage right in the can. I only used one of the cans for trash. I used the other trash can as a clothes hamper. It absolutely works out perfectly holding my dirty clothes and I love it!! I will now be buying 2 more of these cans to be using as clothes hampers in our kids' rooms also! These cans are extremely sturdy and made very well, so I would highly recommend buying these cans if you are looking for a trash can, or even if you're looking for a new clothes hamper!!

I finally received the 2 pack trash cans. They're exactly as described gray and 13 gallon. Just what I needed for my kids rooms..yeah I know it's weird to have large trash cans in my kids rooms but they just make it so much easier because the small ones just fill up so quick. They're both teens so that should explain some haha.

The Mainstays Trash Cans, 13 Gallon are perfect for every room of the house! To be something so simple, they sure add a lot of ease to a lazy person (like me) or a busy person (also me!). I got this two pack and put one in the living room behind the door and one in my office (I work from home). It allows me to keep the rooms organized and clean without much effort. Now I need to go pick up several more, I want one for each room in the house that way I can collect garbage every other day or so without having to collect it dailly.

This trash can is awesome! I have a new puppy who would not stay out of the open top trash can I'd had for years. I found these and it is PERFECT! I really didn't need two (wish I could have just gotten one) but it was worth it in the end! I would highly recommend this trash can if you would like a closed topped can.

Perfect trash cans for the kitchen. I also use one for the laundry room which is a fantastic addition. Practical along with a nice blend in look to them. I had a slight issue to the lids wanting to pop off if bumped or for possible tipping over. I drilled a hole on each side of the lid and trash cans; then I connected on each side a key chain that resembles a mountain climber ring or clip. Now the lids are more secure than any brand trashcan out there. I really enjoy the soft color and rate these a 4.6 out of 5 stars.

I shoulda read the reviews, you will most likely only get 1 can. They offered me a replacement and, again, it only came with 1 can in the package. So both orders came in short. Judging by the other reviews, this is pretty standard, even though it clearly says it's a 2 pack. The quality of the ONE can that you receive if pretty good though.

I can see that I'm not the only one who received just the one trash can in the box, after waiting 12 days for its arrival. I'm less annoyed by the initial ship time and more so by the fact that I now have to wait another 12 or so days for the second one that should have been in the box in the first place. Also, let me be clear that you can probably get a better deal at your local dollar store. These are very thin and cheaply made. I'd say worth about $6 with the lid. I will not purchase again. On the upside, customer service via chat was very helpful in getting a replacement for the missing trash can sent out to me.

I like to keep a trash can in literally every room to help "remind" my family to pick up after themselves. This one was supposed to go in my storage area but I found after one day of use it already has a crack in it. It wasn't filled with trash or overflowing. It just had paper in it ..nothing heavy at all. I'm not sure I would purchase this again.
