I am not able to knit or crochet right now i hurt my hand. i bought a Sentro knitting machine and used this yarn to make a hat. i sent it to my niece. i like the pattern it made. I think it turned out beautiful and it didnt lock up the machine. I already bought more so i can keep busy creating. Yarn makes me happy. I love this yarn.
Product was exactly what I wanted. Delivery was on time - driver contacted me when he/she was on the way and when it was delivered. The only thing that was a problem for me was the delivery charge was higher than I expected.
I was hesitant at first, but after a few stitches, I was pleasantly surprised. The yarn was smooth and soft; came off my hook easily and was not rough on my hands. I will definitely get more of this brand as long as the price is reasonable.
Alright so I'm making a sweater (crochet) and this is very good yarn for it, it's stretchy, cute, and works on hooks good but finding the center pull was difficult and I had to search for it for 10 minutes. So yeah ❤️
Vibrant colors, doesn't fray apart badly, was all in one continuous piece, not tangled, and with no knots, affordable, always my first choice in yarn.
I usually buy the Mainstays brand when I am making something that does NOT get worn. I had a request for a piece of decor in purple and pink. Perfect choice in my book! I recommended it because it is for an art piece and not a sweater. I believe there is a way to make the 4 ply acrylic softer so there is that. Try not to rip it out too much because it does fray (A LOT).
I love this yarn. The colors are vibrant and the yarn is soft doesn't split. The draw back is that the color sequences aren't consistent in their lengths. I'm using this yarn to make an afghan for my bed, using color pooling with and Ilove how it's turning out.
i absolutely love this color blend, but i wish it was a softer yarn. putting that aside, i get that this is basically a store brand yarn, but i every roll of this i douns it knotted/spliced together in several places. not small easily worked around knots connecting two broken spots, these are bigger knots that ive had to cut out and either reknot in a smaller fashion at a suitable place loosing good amounts of yarn in the proceas or having to weave it together and into the work.
I bought 3 of these. The first one was perfect. I went through the whole ball of yarn quickly and had a great experience. I then ordered more but only recieved 2 since that's all that was in stock. Both of these are knotted together in different spots, rendering them useless to me. I don't know how the quality could be so different seeing as both of them are packaged up as if they were new, but that's my experience. I wish they were better because I was excited to use these colors and the softness of the yarn were building up to be one incredible blanket, but now I'll have to settle for a scarf for my daughter. Using them to crochet was incredibly easy, the texture was what I wanted and it's so incredibly easy to use, but having 2 out of 3 being returned and no more in stock leads this to a 1 star rating. Shame, but true.
I wanted red and white yarn, but this has some really ugly pink mixed in. Colors were not spread out enough to make a nice afghan. Red, white and pink. Yuck.
