Mainstays Acrylic Yarn, Red, Medium 4, 7 oz, 397 Yards

The yarn was a little tightly wound but it worked well for the project I was making. The price was very good. Over all I was pleased.

This is good yarn for blankets and projects the need lots of yarn, good quality plenty of colors and great price

I hope in the future main stays produces even more colors because I'm very pleased with their yarn. The price is so much better and the quality is every bit as good as the red heart that they carry otherwise. Having said that, I'm not sure I will continue to order on subscription because no one thought about what would happen if the lightweight box took on any rain at all. My delivery instructions of putting it by my side door with an awning over the door were ignored by fedex, We had a sudden thunderstorm, and by the time I got home, the box fell apart in my hands. The large 7 oz skein was TOTALLY soaked, as if submerged in water. If it was a practice to put in a astic sleeve, probably wouldn't have been wet enogh to be an issue. So, getting 1 a month on subscription for convenience and project availability would've been nice, but not if I have to undo it to dry it! A simple plastic bag would probably have prevented this! C'mon, Walmart. You can do better.

This is definitely not the softest yarn available but it does not constantly split like some other lower end brands when I'm crocheting. The quality of this yarn was exactly what I need for making outfits for my "goose" as she spends most of her time outside in the weather. I have used it for blankets and it does soften up quite nicely after being washed with unscented detergent and fabric softener.

I love this yarn brand mainstays! It's really soft and smooth and it's so easy to crochet and the yarn doesn't get really tangled up. I'm working on a white cardigan and it's looking really good! I'm no professional but I must say this yarn is my go to for projects like this . The color is consistent and doesn't look different when buying on different days or stores like other brands. I highly recommend for beginners or experienced crochetters.

The website, at the time of order, displayed 798 yards for the same price ($2.98) and the color shown is not an accurate representation. The actual color is more of a cappuccino color.

Why isn't this available? You no longer seem to be carrying value yarn. Disappointing. My membership is not worth the price . Found out after I signed up you don't deliver to my area and now this item that I use in large quantities to make blankets is not available. Jacket I ordered got cancelled. Walmart is a joke
