Mainstays Memory Foam Cluster Bed Pillow, Standard/Queen, 2 Pack

Upon researching and looking for a pillow to fit "my needs" I decided to purchase this pillow. The very 1st thing that caught my eye was the price! Given that and Walmart return policy, definitely worth a try. Ok. I am 60 with a compressed spine. Lots of back pain. Research suggested I try a firm pillow. This is it. Im a side sleeper. This pillow keeps my head elevated which keeps pressure off my shoulders. It also puts your spine "in line". After 1 flipping night, my neck pain was GONE and my back felt so much better! No doubt, it was because of the pillow! I decided to go 1 step further and buy a memory foam mattress and both together are flipping FANTASTIC!! Buy the pillow if you have neck and back pain! It will help. If it does you no good at all, you'll probably find out your mattress needs replacing. This pillow and my memory foam mattress had me feeling great after ONE night !

If you like more of a plush pillow, then this pillow is not for you. I need a pillow with firmness to support my head and neck and i struck gold with this pillow! The memory foam cushions my neck and provides support so my head isn't drooping. The cover is soft but does not come off. You can easily throw the pillow in the washing machine then dryer for freshness. Love that it doesnt flatten!

I am extremely picky about my pillows! it has to be "just right". I have spent 5x as much on a pillow before just to end up hating it. I'm a side sleeper and like pillows on the more firm side (more supportive). I use two of these each night. i also prop them up against the wall and sit up against them.

I think I love this pillow. I have spent so much time and money trying to find a pillow that actually lets me sleep. When I think I’ve found one that works, within a week it’s either flat or lumpy. I’ve had $80 pillows and they don’t hold a candle to this. I’ve had this cluster pillow a little over a month and it’s still comfortable! When it flattens out, you can just squish it around and reshape it without it getting lumpy or deflating. Legitimately a life saver. I’ve been able to fall asleep faster and am getting 6-7 hrs of sleep each night (when before I was averaging about 3 and waking constantly)

This Mainstays Memory Foam Cluster Bed Pillow is so hard that leaves my neck in total pain after the very first night of using it. I thought it was something that has to do with my posture, and that I will get costumed to it be I did not. I gave it a try for several nights, and the good news is that for all those people that love a very firm pillow that do not go flat during the night, you search is over because this is it. While for me was way too dense to sleep on it, my husband found it perfect for him. He is a person that usually take two pillows and put it inside one pillow case to create the density he needs. With this pillow was not necessary. I was able to just put the one and only pillow, and he slept perfect the whole night. While in my case I was moving so much, changing positions, until I decided it was not for me. The only thing I can say I like to use it for is when I want to sit down on the bed. I put it on my back and supports me very well. So, for back support, and people that love firm pillow to sleep I would definitely recommend it.

This Mainstays memory foam pillow stands about 9-10" tall! It's super distended, the tallest pillow I've even owned! I wasn't expecting that! I was a little worried that it would be too tall or poofy, but when you lay on your side, as I do, it really squishes down. It made for side and back sleepers. The quilting fabric on the outside of the pillow is so unique. It's a matte finish but smooth at the same time. The fabric feels upscale and the stitching is holding up and looks well done. It says it's polyester, but it feels plush. You cannot wash this in the washing machine, which I would imagine is the same as all memory foam pillows. You also can't remove or unzip the cover to wash it. My only complaint is the filling. It says it's shredded polyurethane foam. You can feel chunks of foam on your face and head while you're laying down! They are not shreds, like cheese comes shredded in a small size, but they feel like irregular chunks a few inches large! Overall, due to the clumps inside the pillow, I can't recommend this pillow. It's just too uncomfortable, what a disappointment since it looks so upscale and high end.

Ordered 'My Pillow; store came up with its own substitute. This wasn't even close. One solid piece of I don't even know what. If you're going to substitute, get closer to the original. MP wasn't solid foam; it was little pieces of foam. cover doesn't come off; instructions say 'spot clean only'.

Not good. Overstuffed with mattress factory trash. This is not memory foam. My previous memory foam cluster pillow from Walmart was soooo good. These new ones are truly knockoffs of the horrible "My Pillow". Filled with lumpy hard chunks of mattress trash. Hard scratchy plastic pieces included. Yes, I opened it up. I could feel the hard scratchy things thru the cover, and hoping it was just a few, and I could maybe pick them out. Not only was this tedious, but the gritty dirt and dust created made me sweep it all up and throw it away. Who knows what toxic dust I inhaled. Who would ever want to sleep on this? What a waste of money. And landfill space.

I gave these pillows a one star rating because they are too hard to use as pillows you would sleep on...the pieces inside get separated and then clump together and flatten out making it to be too hard to sleep on. I don't want to get up in the middle of the night to try and break up the clustered pieces and fluff up my pillow...too bad, Mainstay is usually a very good product.

Th pillow has a very nice quilted cover on it. It was quite thick and firm . The problem with it was the smell. A very strong chemical smell. I sprayed it with lysol, didn't help. Put it outside for about 8 hours, didn't help. Put it in the dryer with 2 dryer sheets on low, still didn't help. Finally I put it in the garage for 9 days, it was a little better, but still smelled. I put in for a refund online and was given it quickly and I can keep it, donate or throw it away. I appreciate how quickly and without any problems the return was!
