Mainstays Mixing Bowl and Colander Set

I just love these mixing bowls and colander set in vibrant colors, and A surprise feature is the rubber grip on the bottom so while using they Won't slip. There is a built in spoon rest built right into the handles The sizes are perfect large bowl is 4 quarts and the small bowl is 2.5 quarts with measurements inside the bowls! The colander it larger than the ones I currently use, so I am super happy about that, no more Veggies spilling into my sink. I am really loving these and you will too!

This is a great mixing bowl set. The colors are bright and the plastic feels strong. I really like how it has spots to rest your spoon on so you don't have to set it down somewhere else. The colander is small but deep so it holds a lot. The mixing bowls are sized right also so you can use them in the colander. I really like how they stack together and don't take up a lot of room.

I absolutely love this mainstays three piece mixing bowl in colander set. I have a smaller kitchen so I need items that are practical and do not take up a lot of room. This set stacks perfectly inside each other so that I do not have three different bowls sitting in the cabinets taking up a lot of extra room. Not only are they a perfect set that stacks well but The bulls have built in measuring on the sides of the inside of the bowl so you know how much ingredients you have in each bowl. I really love that both of the mixing bowls also have a pour spout to easily pour your ingredients out of the bowl. The spout to make it so much easier in no mess at all compared to regular bowls. It is made making pancakes so much easier pouring The batter out to make pancakes doesn’t leave a mess running down the bowl or dripping all over the stove they are very handy. The big red bowl also has a handle that allows you to rest a spoon spatula or whatever you wish to rest on it and so you do not have to get anything dirty or lay it down somewhere and it makes a mess. The bowls are really easy to handle I even use the handle to help me pour the ingredients out of the bowl which is quite nice. The bottom of the bowls have rubber on the bottom that helps them stay put and not roll or spill easily. The bowls and the colander are very easy to clean they’re made very durable and really nice. They’re great quality and very cute. This is a must have set for every kitchen you will not be disappointed with this product at all. The colander is absolutely amazing also the holes are perfect where I’m able to rent my vegetables fruit and salad perfectly and nothing is getting through the holes going down the drain and causing clogging problems. All three of the bowls are easy to wash dry off perfectly fine in store away without taking up a ton of room. I absolutely love this set and you will too.

I was happy to receive this MainStays 3 piece mixing bowl set with colander, in return for review. The colors are so pretty. The largest one is red and has a pouring spout on one end and a spoon rest on the other side. The gray one is a little smaller and does not have a spoon rest, but has a pouring spout. Both have a rubberized nonslip bottom. I love these, so functional and such quality. I will use the red one the most. I use a mixer for my mashed potatoes and this red one will fit all of them and a little extra room to add milk and butter and whip on high speed. I didn’t have a colander and forgot to look for one at the store. Every time that I make pasta, I would remember that I needed one. This one is a perfect size and the holes are just the right size to drain easily, but not let any of the pasta slide through. All 3 nest together for storage. This is a quality made set and I plan to be using these a long time.

Great large size bowls with a colander that fits right into the larger one. We can make macaroni salad , strain it right into the larger bowl and add ingredients. Today we did sheet pan bakes and having the spoon rest is wonderful. We can blend all ingredients , strain off all extra oils and juices and add right back to the larger bowl to transfer the dry rub. Great handy set that has everything you need in a nice stackable trio. I always seem to let my spoon slide down in my bowl and this makes keeping things clean and handy a treat.

These mixing bowls and collandar are great to have for your cooking, kitchen and household needs. The sizes are perfect and can be used for a ton of different stuff. They are of a hard plastic and due to that I probably won't run hem through the dishwasher as much as a result. Highly recommend adding these to your household.

I would recommend picking up this set in the store rather than order online. Even though the green colander had Styrofoam protection in between the bowls, the red one came cracked. Other than that, this is a charming set that has cute bright colors! My kids like using them, which means they help out in the kitchen more. All of the bowls and colander have a spout to make pouring easier. The bowls have silicone bottoms to reduce slippage, which is great for the kids. I also appreciate that they are BPA free! The red bowl is slightly less than 10" across, the grey is 8", and the colander is about 8 1/2 inches. If it hadn't come cracked i would have given it 5 stars.

This 3 piece bowl set is for the budget minded. The bowls are a decent thickness and the color of the bowls are nice although the gray is a little dull. They have a non skid rubberized base to hold the bowl in place while mixing. The handle on the large bowl has a rubberized spoon rest which is very helpful but I would not think of carrying it using that handle as it is too short and uncomfortable. There are measurement markings inside the bowls but you would have to have a flashlight to ready them as they blend right into the bowl. The bowls have a pour spout; the colander has 4 small tabs on the base about 1/2" from bottom. The set is BPA free. The large bowl holds 4 quarts and the small bowl holds 2 1/2 quarts. The colander hooks nicely to the large bowl for rinsing fruit, etc. The openings on the colander go approx. 1/3 of the way up the bowl. This would be considered a beginning set for someone who doesn't use on a daily basis.

The colander is nice that it nests between the two bowls. The large red bowl is 4 qt / 4 liters and the small gray bowl is 2.5 qt / 2.5 liters. There are measurements inside the bowls which are extremely hard to read but could be useful if you can position it well enough to get a good look. The pouring spouts are a nice feature. The spoon rest on the large one is nice but a little awkward. My red bowl arrived with a crack in the bottom. There is a crack in the plastic but it doesn't go thru the silicone base. It is unusable. It's a nice set if you are not expecting high quality.

These are alright. They are taller and deeper than some of my other bowls so they don't nest nicely. The rubber on the bottom is great, especially when they're full. The little feet on the colander are nice, rather than a rubber ring or some other way to lift the bowl up, since they're attached, and hard plastic. The spot/handles are odd on these. They're a little rough, and they stick out, which make these bowls even bigger. I would prefer if they were just holes cut into the side of the bowl instead, so save space.
