Mainstays Modern 1 Drawer Nightstand, Natural Teak

After another set that I was eyeballing was discontinued, I spent months trying to find the perfect fit for my space. I went ahead and ordered these until something better came along, but I am pleasantly surprised by these nightstands. They are sturdy, a great color, and the storage space is plentiful.

Very nice quality but budget friendly night stand! Assembly was very quick, from opening the box the night stand was assembled within 15 minutes. Storage drawer is big, which is a huge positive. Gives a luxurious and quality look and feel at a good price point.

Probably one of the easiest pieces of furniture I’ve had to put together. Plus it is a beautiful piece. Matching dresser arrives tomorrow. Hope it’s the same!

For the price and easy assembly I think it’s a great purchase. It’s sturdy and looks nice for being particle board.

I want to review this nightstand. This is the perfect size for my space. The cream color matches my decor and it was so easy to put together. I like that there is storage and that it is sturdy. I would highly recommend this night side table.

I ordered a set of two nightstands and unfortunately one arrived missing the plastic dowel pins needed to assemble it. Because of this, I’m unable to put it together at all. I attempted to contact the company, but their phone number only directs you to email for support, promising a quick response. I’ve emailed and have not received any reply. Very disappointed with the lack of quality control and customer service.

purchased two dressers and one nightstand from the Mainstays Dowel Teak collection. The nightstand began crumbling during assembly — the particle board was extremely soft and deteriorating before it was even fully built. I assumed it was a one-off defect. It wasn’t. Both dressers have now started falling apart within less than three weeks of very light use in a child’s bedroom with not even all drawers in use. Multiple drawers are literally crumbling. This is not normal wear and tear — the materials are failing. I have contacted Walmart customer service four times requesting a refund. I was told to mail the original boxes back (not realistic for large assembled furniture), and later told a pickup would be arranged — which never happened. These units are now unsafe and deteriorating in my kids’ room, and I still don’t have a resolution. Buyers should be aware of the material quality.
