Mainstays MS2601008908 7.5" Half-Fold Metal Box Spring, Twin

This twin box spring came on time and was so easy to assemble! I'm very satisfied with this purchase! I thought initially (before I checked the contents) that it could not be the correct box spring, the box was relatively flat. But it folded out and the cover quickly went on, it fit the frame perfectly.

I already had a good full size mattress for my guest bedroom but the box spring was broken. This was a great find. The price was amazing, especially considering shipping to my front door was FREE. Also, it was light enough for me to carry upstairs by myself. It simply unfolds - don't make the mistake of taking the cover off first. If it's to hard to unfold by yourself ask someone to help.

I wasn't sure what to expect from a folding box spring, but I am very happy with it. My old “normal” wooden box springs broke, and I wanted something stronger, as I am heavy set and so is my significant other. We have not had any trouble with these, and my bed feels firmer and more sturdy, over all. They come in a large box, the width of a twin and about half the height. They were extremely easy to “put together”, it was really just a matter of unfolding them and zipping up the cover, which was already on the box springs, just unzipped so it could be unfolded. I suffer from arthritis and have back trouble and I was able to do it all on my own. They are surprisingly light weight, my 12 year old was able to lift it on his own. Overall, they are a great product at a great price.

I don’t normally write reviews but I can honestly say this was a great purchase. I 2 ordered and my box springs arrived in two days. It took only two minutes to take then out of the box, unfold it, and zip the zipper. I needed a quick and easy fix because my children had wooden slates under their mattresses and they kept breaking. This fit my children’s twin bed frames perfectly! These are a great price and easy to use. I definitely recommend if your looking for an affordable and quick fix.

I had to get a box spring very fast so I decided to try this since the reviews were good. This box spring is amazing, I had it delivered & it's in half. All you have to do it open it, unfold, zip up & there you go. Feels like a regular box spring & amazing for the price. My parents were surprised how it works. I've had it for a few weeks & have no problem so far.Also make sure you buy a frame seperate, it is not included.

I've had many beds over the years and the box springs of my past were made out of thin woods strips (for the frame inside) and easy to rip flimsy partially transparent material underneath. The picture of these is not really representative of the good quality and attractiveness that they are in real life. I bought two for my spare room. I thought it would be worthwhile due to price, no delivery fees, and who sees the box spring anyway? What the heck, right?! I was pleasantly surprised! The frames are metal and come folded in half in a box. All I did was pull them out of the box, push one side of the box spring down, and folded back the other side to lay flat, then zipped the covers up. Done. Totally assembled! The covering is a high quality, thicker, stretch material that goes beyond the material quality on a regular box spring (by far). It comes already on the flatted frame and just zips up over the metal frame once it's flat. It looks like it would easy to take off to wash if necessary? I'm very happy with these! I put flat fitted sheets over the box spring and my ordinary metal frame (instead of a dust ruffle) to make them look updated, like a fabric base of some of the new beds out now.

We rec'd the box quickly and were unsure if I ordered the correct size bc the box was smaller in than expected. We opened it, ready and followed the directions. It was simple and easy. I found reading other reviews on this product very helpful before I made this purchase.

Assembly was a pain. Getting the frame inside the cover almost had us in Divorce Court 😄. Pay attention to what is the top vs the bottom of the frame. there were no instructions to address this.We initially put the frame on upside down, which led to our mattress sloping downward at the head of the bed for about two months until we figured out what was wrong. The bottom has a large gap between the last cross slat and both the head and foot of the frame. When you look at it open and before you put it in the cover you'll understand what I'm saying.

Thus far, I love the box springs. Only had it for about 2 weeks so it's hard to give an actual review on this product. Nevertheless, It's super easy to assemble (5 plus mins) and was able to fit one in my Kia Optima (back seat, unboxed). I purchased a king bed which means I had two box springs so the other one went into a friends Lincoln MKZ car. So, if u don't have a flat bed truck or nice size SUV, no worries.

Honestly, I thought that I would be getting a piece of junk. Needless to say, I was wrong. The Box spring was very easy to assemble, I put it on my bed all by myself without breaking a nail. The hardest part was getting it out the box. Other than that the box spring was worth the purchase. I caught my daughter and dog jumping on my bed and surprisingly, no damage. If you're looking for something nice and not expensive I do recommend this metal spring.
