Mainstays Nonstick 9.3" x 5.2" x 2.7" Meatloaf Pan with Insert, Bread and Loaf Pan, Gray

I attached a picture for you to see the size difference between the liner and exterior pan. The liner has to be smaller for the draining fat. Be aware that your meatloaf will cook in a different amount of time, so be sure to adjust so it does not dry out. The health benefits of draining the fat are huge. I cannot speak to the longevity of the nonstick. Haven't had it long enough.

Made a meatloaf for an ill friend (he likes ketchup on top....ick) using my new meatloaf pan with grease drain. I think it worked great. It's one of those little things that won't save the world but is a nifty that makes clean-up a little easier. The sides of the meatloaf also got a little browner than if it was sitting in grease. I would think this pan would be suitable for roast also. Clean- up was super slick with nothing sticking on either pan.

I love this pan. That was easy, you get the review in the first 4 words. I typically don't make meatloaf because my pans are about 5 years old and they always have 'rust type' stains on them. I'm not a health food nut in any way, but the sight of the 1/2" of grease in the bottom of the pan skeeves me out. I was thrilled to see this pan with the draining insert online at Walmart. It was a no brainer, scooped that thing right up. My husband made meatloaf last night. It was wonderful!! The grease dripped through and I waited until the next day and easily wiped it out with a paper towel. There was none of those big clumps of meat sticking to the side and bottom of the pan. The meatloaf easily lifted right out of the pan and onto the platter. Now here is the bad part. Like always, after we ate I loaded everything in the dishwasher and because it was full, I ran it. I did not read the directions on the box ... who reads directions for a pan?? I just went to recycle the box as it is trash day tomorrow and read the back of the box. There is a Use and care instructions which clearly says ... Although bakeware is dishwasher safe, hand washing is recommended. Do not use dishwasher detergent tablets, these concentrated cleaners will damage the finish. Oh man. I jumped right up and went to the dishwasher to see if I had 'ruined' my pan. I did not ... it looks perfect. BUT I will from now on, hand wash the pan and dry it immediately as the care instructions state. Maybe this is why all of my pans are in a sorry state. Maybe I can use them to plant seeds for the garden this spring! SO .... this pan is wonderful. It is a nice feel to it, good weight. The insert is a bit smaller than the bottom pan. The grease drains through perfectly and wipes up easy when the grease hardens. I would absolutely use this again, and I am planning on getting another one so I can go back to making banana and pumpkin bread again. Five stars. I love it!

Oh wow! I bought two of these on a whim for me and my Sister for Mother's Day. I just tried mine out today and it was amazing! It's a reasonable price, the insert is better than higher priced options, and it's non-stick! Wow! I love meat loaf but needed a simplified version. So I bought this pan along with "Williams Meat Loaf Seasoning", which I also bought at Walmart, and it's super simple and perfectly delicious! I finally cracked the code on delicious meat loaf for an excellent price! Thank you Walmart!

Mainstays Nonstick Meatloaf Pan is 9.3 in x 5.2 in x2.7 in so it is absolutely perfect size for my meatloaf recipe that calls for one pound of ground beef. It does have a nice nonstick finish and the insert is removable for easy drainage of fat. I use lean beef, but was surprised that I had so much in the dripping pan. This pan is dishwasher safe, but the manufacturer still recommends you hand wash it, which is easy due to the nonstick coating. Honestly, I wash most of my nonstick cookware, but if you need to you definitely can pop it in the dishwasher. I'm impressed that this pan is around $8 as well. The quality is really good. I plan on getting a lot of use out of it. My family loves meatloaf! Thanks for reading, have a great day.

There are two pans and the pan with holes sits inside of the loaf pan without the holes. I was excited to see how different my meatloaf would turn out when it didn't sit in grease while cooking and I wasn't disappointed. It seemed like the meat cooked more evenly than usual and the fat definitely collected in the bottom pan instead of around my meatloaf. The texture was the best I've had in any meatloaf I've made. The one thing that didn't happen that I wish would have is the blood from the meat stayed on top and cooked and didn't drip through to the bottom but was easy to remove from around the edges. The non-stick feature made it very simple to remove the loaf from the pan.

Who knew there was a pan just for meatloaf? In the past I have utilized a bread baking pan for my meatloaf. Sure it works, but you can be left with a greasy or crispy bottom. No more! Now that I have the Mainstays meatloaf pan the handy insert drains the juices and things that make the bottom crusty. Now I get a well rounded meatloaf from top to bottom. The pan also washes well and without a lot of residue left. Stop using a bread pan and get a pan made for the meatloaf. The right tool for the job. The right cooking accessory for the right meal.

this is a great product!! its just like the non-stick Ecko meatloaf pan i used to have, but better because it has a drain pan that fits down in it that you lift the meatloaf out with, to leave any grease behind! LOVE THIS IDEA! its made of quality material and the non-stick surface will last forever as long as you dont use abrasives or steel wool on it! this pan cooks evenly so you dont hafta worry about burnt corners.

This pan is over a pretty decent pan . I used It this weekend. I found that the grease drippings I'm the bottom of the pan tend to want to stick a bit to the pan , however Cleaned up pretty good after a brief soaking in hot water . I would have have it five stars but because it stuck a bit it received 4 . The meatloaf itself turned out quite lovely and moist . You will like this pan I like mine .I can live with the little bit of sticking it does in time it will get better j think after some use . This pan has a drip tray that goes under the meat loaf and keep the fat away from it . It's a win , win every way around . The meatloaf I made did not stick to the insert inside the pan only the grease drippings in the bottom of the pan kinda stuck a bit .

This meatloaf pan with insert makes ONLY half of a meatloaf! The pan itself is 3” tall (standard size), the insert is 2” tall which sits at least 1/4 inch from the bottom. It should have been bigger to make up for the lack of space taken up by the insert.
