I recently went to cook something and discovered I really didn't have any good pans anymore LOL after years of use I throw out pans as they have become not so useful anymore with age and use. When I reached for some cookie sheets and discovered I didn't have what I needed I took inventory and realized it was that time again to clean out the rest of the old and get new pans in. I don't need a lot there's just two of us but I'm not going to spend a ton of money on a pan because of the name on it. I simply look for what I need and the item with the best value. So while I was looking around I came across the cookie sheets by mainstay that were a convenient size and definitely a great price. I was not expecting anything other than mediocre at best but these pans are of a really nice quality! I was surprised at the weight to them, they are not flimsy baking sheets. I cannot speak to durability because I have just received them but if I'm doing what I'm supposed to in taking care of them I can absolutely see these pans lasting a long hot minute! If you are like me in need of restocking quite a few items or just simply on a budget which almost all of us are, don't be afraid to get these pans! I review items all the time and not just items that are a big fail. I absolutely do for the good and the bad. If I have posted a review nine times out of 10 it is because it is a extremely awesome item like these are, or they are an epic fail and I want any of you readers to know what your considering either way. I count on everyone else's reviews a lot of times when making a final decision and I always hope to find honest reviews regardless of the outcome and I appreciate those of you who help me. I hope I have helped you make the decision here. These are not the massively large cookie sheets always pay attention to the measurement but if you are not cooking items in bulk or have a large family these are such a perfect size.
I had forgotten what it was like to have a small cookie pan in the house. This mainstays small cookie pan is great. It works perfect for cooking up fish , or cooking up little meat loafs or and lets not foget it is just the right size for a small batch of cookies or one gigant size cookie. It is real easy to clean , either wash it in the sink with hot soapy water or elsevput it in the dishwasher. Definitely going to pick up a few more to keep around the house. Great pan!
This baking sheet works very well and is the perfect size for the purpose I wanted it for! It cleans easy and things do not stick to it. I was a bit apprehensive to buy this inexpensive pan, but it has proven to be just as good as a more expensive pan and at a very reasonable price. Don't hesitate, go get you one.
This cookie sheet will make it difficult to pay a lot for a cookie sheet. Cheapest pan in the store. Works great for fresh cookies, biscuits, doesn't stick, cleans easy. The only reason to pay more is if you want a bigger one. NOW, I'm not like a baking expert or chef but I can cook and bake cookies from scratch without a recipe so I do know how good food is supposed to look and taste and this item allows me to prepare food that is both. and it only cost me $2
this is a light cookie sheet that is on the smaller side. you can fit approximately 6 biscuits, regular size or 9 smaller to med cookie balls to bake. overall i like the pan it served it purpose and its reasonably priced that even thougb it says hand wash im throwing it in the dishwasher to make my life easier. overall cheap and good.
Don't bother with this. It's way too thin and it warped out of shape when grilling some salmon and the teflon like coating came right off. You're better off buying the throw away aluminum ones but if you're going to go mainstay - get the three pack. It's a few dollars more but three times as thick and won't melt the first time you use it.
Food sticks to it even though it's supposedly nonstick, extremely thin and warped immediately, says dishwasher safe but started rusting after the first wash. Do not buy.
The product details say this is 13.2 x 9.2. Which would just fit in my toaster oven. But they're not counting the "handles" or whatever they are on the ends, it is much longer than stated. And won't fit in my oven, not even close!
I used this pan today in the oven to cook my supper. As I removed it from the oven the smoke alarm went off bc the pan was giving off an odor. The house still smells like the cookie sheet odor. I opened windows and turned on a ceiling fan. I washed it before using it. The pan is warped bc I heard a loud noise from within the oven.
These warp as soon as they get hot. They were the same price as disposable aluminum cookie sheets, I am not upset about the purchase and while I can't use them to cook on, I can use them to stage stuff I intend to grill so they still have a purpose but I can't recommend them.
