STABILITY IS PERFECT, IT OPENS EASY AND THE STURDINESS IS AS STATED. IT HAS SEVERAL USES, YES YOU CAN STAND ON IT AND IT OPENS EASY BUT I USE IT TO HAVE MY FLOOR OSCILLATING FAN ON IT. IT'S THE PERFECT HEIGHT FOR MY FAN. OPENING IS SO EASY AND WHEN STANDING ON IT YOU FEEL SAFE. FEET DON'T SLIP OR SLIDE SO FOR A SENIOR THAT'S IMPORTANT.

I really like the step stool it's easy to fold at first I didn't think the plastic will hold me because I am kind of on the heavy side but I've been having this step stool for a month now and it has been holding up fairly well and it's very stable and again it's easy to handle and it's very lightweight as well it is the right size and height I have no complaints about the step stool and I will recommend it matter of fact a family member has the same step stool and they've been having theirs for about a year and a half if you looking for a step stool for reasonable price this one will be for you

The he stool is lightweight, it sets up and takes down in a flash, has a convenient carry handle and is so compact it takes up hardly any room at all. it is perfect to give me that extra height boost I needed for teaching higher kitchen and closet shelves. I like it so much I bought three for gifts.

At 5'2" I'm forever dragging some kind of step stool around the house. While not as tall as a two-step stepstool this one step folding stool still gets plenty of use by me. I use it a lot in the kitchen or when I want to rearrange the contents of shelves in another room. Love that it folds up for easy storage and has a built in carrying handle. The bottom also have no slip/no skid protectors to keep the stool in place and also so you can gently scoot it over with your feet without damaging your floors.

I love this little stool! I had read some reviews that said it might be wobbly or not sturdy enough but that was not my impression at all. It's lightweight, one piece, collapses flat and opens easily. It doesn't slide and I am comfortable standing on it. When I'm done, I slide it between my washer and dryer - it's that compact - and I will probably buy another for a different area of the house. Love it!

I got this after havin bought a replacement for the old plastic folding step tool that held up daily use for yrs. The one cost about the same price as the previous replacement which didnt broke in 1 week but ive never had an issue with any of Mainstays products. I ordered it for delivery so I was pleasantly surprised with it. Its feels durable and remains stable. Ive used it several times and it hasnt once buckled or shifted on us. ( I'm 5'5, 150lbs %26 my husbandis 6'1", 170 lbs)

got this for the car. to have a seat when not available while parked somewhere. the bottom rubber things the are supposed to hold the still steady came off twice. hmm luckily I only want it for a seat outdoors therefore I don't think that matters in my case. unless I decide to use it as a step stool then Houston we have a problem

These are the best step stools! I have a total of 3 now - 2 for my multi-story house and another that I keep in my RV. This particular style is wider and taller than most folding step stools, and holds more weight. It unfolds and folds easily, and is easy to store when not in use. Oh, and it's cat approved as well. 😀

My only issue with this is when you go to move it from place to place it pops out and folds back and I wish instead of it doing it by itself that there was some kind of a latch that you had to make it fold back when ready. So it is a little bit of a pain that when you move from spot to spot, you have to put it back and snap it back in place every single time.

Product is advertised to have a 300lb. weight capacity. I am 200lb. and when I attempted to step onto the stool, the center where it folds out bends in making it feel like I am going to fall through the center of the stool. Not stable, sturdy and I would NOT recommend this product to any adult.
