wonderful purchase for my kids!

EmmyH December 8, 2024

I purchased 2 of these beds. To give fair warning to those who may need to know, I was shocked to find I couldn't move these boxes by myself when they were delivered. I had to use a dolly to get them inside and had to get help taking them upstairs. I've not had that happen in many years, even with all the furniture I've ordered online (divorce, fire, and now upgrading my kids' rooms). The cobblestone color is more of a beige-gray than gray, which also kind of took me by surprise. I'm getting it color-matched so I can paint the nightstands I bought to go with them. They feel extremely sturdy and the holes for all the screws line up except one on the platforms. I may have been able to swap them around and one would've worked, but after assembling both beds, I was tuckered out. I would normally use my drill to assemble furniture, but chose not to do it with these because I've overtightened and cracked things like this before. Yet another fair warning -- there's somewhere around 150 screws per bed. My mistake, but I have a blister and my wrist hurts. lol. All in all, I'm really impressed with the quality of the beds and would recommend over and over. I'm so glad I caught them at $62 each!

Buy it! Its worth it!!

Bryant April 29, 2020

I absolutely love this bed. I got it for my six-year-old son and he is in love with it too if it's in perfectly. We put it together it just under four hours it took two people my only advice is make sure you have more than one screwdriver. Take your time the instructions are very clear and easy to understand.

Nice first big girl bed

Whimax December 21, 2013

It was time for our daughter to move from her crib to a bed. We ultimately decided to go straight to a twin bed rather than a toddler bed. That way, there would be one transition to make rather than two. We purchased an 8" memory foam type of mattress and wanted a low to the ground bed frame. This bed frame is just what we wanted. It looks nice, is sturdy, is economical and is not very high off the ground. The frame was easy to put together and the mattress fits nicely in it. Our daughter had no issues making the transition; in fact, she rather likes her big girl bed.

Great Buy , Will buy another!

Onlinebuyingpro September 21, 2014

This bed took my husband and I about an hour and a half to assemble , it wasn't` bad at all. I was really worried about how much weight this bed could hold ,as it is for one of my sons and as his mom , I am a larger lady ,but it Does hold up very well! I can lay on there with him.The bed itself is just beautiful & you don't even need the box springs either. I am buying another for my youngest , he wants one too :)

Nice looking bed

mljb March 21, 2014

March 2014. We purchased this bed for our 2 year-old son for his transition from the crib. The directions were easy to follow. The bed came in the day after I ordered it. There are a lot of pieces to put together, but the bed was put together in a reasonable amount of time. I am pleased with this purchase. It is low to the ground in case there are any accidental rolls. It is sturdy and holds my weight as well as my husband's if we lie in bed next to our son. There is a gap of space from where the mattress doesn't fit the frame perfectly. We ordered a twin bed and a twin mattress from Wal-Mart's website. The bed's frame is a little too large for the mattress, but that is my only complaint so far about the bed.

Nice bed for the price

drdad1drdad June 20, 2014

Made of pressboard, the box is very heavy - we carried in the two beds we bought in pieces. The assembly is pretty straightforward but took a couple of hours for the first one - half that for the second one. It warns not to use a powered screwdriver, but I used my drill to avoid getting carpal tunnel that turning all the screws by hand might lead to. I only ran in to trouble with it once when one screw was hard to turn and then saw the reason for the warning - the metal screw was easily damaged. Just be careful to go slowly and stop using the powered method if any screw is hard to turn. The beds look nice assembled - beware that they are low (which was fine for our use - our 19 month old grandson staying for an overnight visit).

Walmart Bed

Anonymous February 6, 2014

I bought this bed at Walmart because I needed a bed for my apartment and I'm a broke post-college student. It's kind of exactly what you'd expect when you buy a bed from Walmart. The edges on the stands are a little sharp, and I was a total goon while I was trying to construct this thing, but all in all I got this bed for a pretty low price from Walmart, so I'm not complaining. I sleep in it. It's nice.

Except for the back of the head board being colored in cardboard. I love this product. Brought two for my toddlers room. they both love it because the can climb in and out of bed without my assistant. Putting it together can be challenging, about 1 hour. it's fast if you have two people working on it. It's a beautiful bed frame

As if made by IKEA...

BByrdII November 12, 2013

Though this product is sturdy, and can withstand my nine year old belly flopping on it, the setup was horrid, the instructions and all parts needed was that of an IKEA product just much better quality. This is a good quality product once it is assembled but, until then its a pain to move around in the box at 115 pounds.

Not to happy with this bed with missing screws.

ChennaC October 3, 2014

The bed is nice. I like the bed. It is good quality for the price. I am not to happy about the manufacturer not providing enough screws to screw the middle bed base boards in place. I had to go to Home Depot to buy some screws that really did fit the base board hole size to make sure the base board was secure. I gave a low rating because screw parts were missing and I had to spend more money to fix the problem.
