Mainstays Performance Cotton Washcloth, Quick Dry, Fade Resistant, Textured Black

Very nice washcloth. It's cotton. It's thick. The color selection is great. And best of all, it's sold as a single unit so we can have just the one that we need without getting stuck with a whole set. Well, we did pick a couple colors. Again, single units, so we can! The price is arguably high for one washcloth. Obviously, sets are cheaper per unit. But because of the ability to buy one, the value is justified. And it's a quality washcloth! We'd buy them again, if needed, and we'd look for this brand if we found ourselves needing just one towel.

The washcloths are cotton. Being cotton and soft, these are very good for my very sensitive skin. I like the light beige color (neutral, fits in any bathroom, etc). I havIen't noticed any bleaching after washing. I can use them a dry facecloths at the sink or wet washcloths in the shower and they are soft enough either way - wet or dry. Just a basic washcloth which is what I was looking for. I didn't need anything fancy, just a good, basic washcloth.

These washcloths are a nice, medium weight washcloth which is what I was looking for. I also selected these because it said they were fast drying but I'm not so sure about that. At least not while hanging on a towel bar. Maybe they meant that they dry quickly in the dryer. Hanging on a towel bar they don't dry any quicker than any of my other washcloths. Now, on to the cardboard tag that is sewn into the seam of the washcloth. As others have mentioned, that is a definite issue and needs to be rectified. I had hoped it had been rectified prior to placing my order but that was not the case. The cloths I received had the cardboard tag sewn into the seam just as other reviewers have said. I had a very carefully cut through the cardboard as close to the stitching as I could without cutting into the stitching and the cloth which meant leaving a little bit of cardboard sewn into the cloth. Not a good idea at all. Here's what it looks like.

I love these washcloths! They are the only ones I have used that rinse clean easily. All of the other washcloths that I have used have been difficult to get all of the soap out of them even when rinsing with cold water. These rinsed out quickly and thoroughly.

It's a well-made cloth but the order was mistakenly made. I am keeping it because it's too much bother to return just one. If the need arises, I would buy more.

The color received is not like the picture online, Very masculine green, like Army green. I dont loke it but I needed them. They do hold soap nicely, they are a good size and weight.

Don't buy this wash cloth. It doesn't cost much but you get what you pay for. The material is very thin and the stitching has started to fray after using it only a few times.

Very low quality. These washcloths are thin, hard, and they don't lather well with soap and water. The color is not the same in person; they are more blue instead of grey. They have a scratchy paper tag and a cardboard tag on them and they are difficult to remove without ripping the cloth. You get what you pay for.

The washcloth itself is fine, but tell me why you would sew in a **cardboard tag** thats perforated in such a way that a 1/2" of it stays stuck inside the cloth. Unnecessary. So what, am I supposed to judt deal with wet cardboard slop until it dissolves itself out? Buy a different brand, Mainstays clearly doesn't care or think about it's customers.
