Mainstays Purple 20-inch 3-Speed Box Fan, FB50-16HP

I've used this brand of fan for years. they are dependable and take a lot of abuse like on construction sites and yet they keep on working. even though I have air conditioning, by using the fan in the bedroom, the extra movement of air drops the temperature by another 10 degrees, which I love. the gentle hum of the motor is a comfortable steady sound machine canceling out most jarring noises. if the neighbors are noisy, I just turn the fan on high. I especially enjoy the fun colors! and of course my daughter wanted a purple fan too! plus it makes her life in the dorm, and now her apartment easier to take, making extraneous noises a non-issue even beyond the cooling air movement.

Love the fan. I bought one last year in purple. I love the color and function of the fan. Very good price for a very nice fan. I bought another one this year so my dog has her own and I have one too-both in my favorite color of purple. It puts out a nice amount of breeze even on low. Very happy with the purchase.

The first one I bought because it was cheap...around $15. After a couple of years of daily use, it finally died. I purchased this one to replace it because it is a great value and LOUD. I specifically wanted a loud fan to run while I'm sleeping.

Been using for almost a month now, works great. I've headed the warnings about not letting it fall over because it will stop working. That said, I've had no problems with it. There doesn't seem to be a Big difference between medium speed and high speed, as there is between Low

This fan is small and petite yet it really can cool a room. I am so happy for this purchase. This fan is a workforce.

Great fan. Pretty I got purple. Moves air along good. No annoying noise, just normal fan sound, which I like.

Bought this fan while it was on sale for $9.98 not that long ago. It's pretty loud which is one of the main reasons I wouldn't give it 5 stars. It's got multiple settings but I keep it on the highest speed and it keeps the room cool in the Arizona heat and I can turn my a/c to 80 degrees when the family is just hanging around in 1 room. Wish I would have bought 2 or 3 more for other rooms while it was on sale because I don't believe it is worth more than $10 when you can find a better one on offer up for $10. The purple color I was nervous about but it's a very nice darker purple that goes well with my black furniture. My electric bill has gone up about 2-3cents an hour so it beats the cost of central a/c because it cost much more to keep the a/c on 75 opposed to 80 degrees. It has been 100 degrees or higher for the last few months here also so the a/c can hardly keep up. Tried to add a couple photos but it keeps saying time limit is reached but the purple on the box is close just not as deep of a purple.

I need a fan to sleep. This one makes enough noise on low to drown out any other sounds. So if you are looking for a nosey fan dosleep you will love it too

This is a half decent fan for one room. Unfortunately it came slightly damaged on the front plastic cover. But not enough to return. Delivery workers should take more care in their handling of the products.

No support legs to go on bottom so it will stand up were attached or included in the box like the photo. So I have to propit against a wall which keeps from proper air flow. Idk why NONE were in the boxes to attach or none were already made onit. Frustrated I purchased 3 and cant use them how wanted. Smh want a refund honestly.
