I love this style of shower curtain rings. They're a little tough to close, but I like that the kids can fling the curtain open without the rings coming off. The little balls help the curtain glide smoothly. Great price- worth the price!

great product, exactly what I was looking for. Definetly heavy weight, would recommend.

Smooth glide
I had been using hooks that were shaped like a S and that I just placed on top of the rod. I had chosen those because I had thought it would be eaiser to put the curtain on the hooks and then place it on the shower rod. It was. It was easier to set up than these hooks. However, the negative was they didn't slide well and even sometimes would fall off the rod. These roll very nice and rarely get caught on the area where the 2 rods meet.
