The description is roving yarn so I expected a felt-like, unfinished yarn that may not be very even throughout. I was surprised to find that it was mostly even for each ball, and I had no trouble creating a triple crochet stitch throw. Very soft and I made a 6 lb throw with 12 balls. It sheds a lot. If that's not something you want, don't buy this yarn.

So yes this is extremely soft, cushy yarn. The one thing you need to know is it's exactly like the large merino wool you buy to arm knit afghans. You cannot treat it like a regular skein. If you pull on it to hard it'll pull apart. That being said, once you create with it, it's amazing. I highly recommend it if you've always wanted to make one of those arm knitted blankets, but are allergic to wool.

We ordered this to make our first hand-crocheted blanket. Works well.

This is very thick yarn. You will need to crochet with a very big hook or hand knit with this kind of yarn. It is soft. The color is very nice.

This yarn is just not what I was expecting. It was not the regular chunky yarn I normally buy and I thought it would be. I used it anyways and made a blanket. The yarn is consistently leave strands of yarn almost as if it sheds. I put the blanket in my spare bedroom where it won't get used. Otherwise I'd be picking up fragments of yarn all the time. Some may like this but it's not for me!

The quality honestly sucks and it's hard to use and comes apart easily. Don't waste your money on this
