Honestly didnt expect much seeing the bad reviews and it is a VERY inexpensive set, which is what I have been looking for, since I will re-do my patio later this year or next and get a bigger one. But, honestly, its a nice looking piece. My husband put this together and the screws in the table sides didn't fit so he had to get new screws. But, after that, it is a nice piece for a temporary dining set. I am very happy with the purchase. And it delivered within 3-4 days. If you are not good at putting things together, this might not be the one for you since it took some maneuvering.
This is a great value and, if you can handle a few simple tools, not too hard to assemble if you follow the directions. It arrived in good condition and seemed to be well-packed. The bolts needed for assembly were in a blister pack rather than a bag and nothing was missing. The manufacturer even included a nifty ratcheting screwdriver with the proper hex bit for the bolts; it's a tool you can keep and change out the bit to use with other projects. The directions say to not tighten the bolts until you get everything put together, and that is good advice. Tightening them as you go along will result in misalignment of the holes. With the bolts loosely attached, you can easily maneuver the chairs so the holes will line up. Tighten everything after all the bolts are inserted and in place. The bolts should be snug, but be careful not to over-tighten when using the ratcheting tool or a cordless screwdriver -- too much torque will cause the bolts to shear in half (as I did to one). The table was another story in terms of the leg holes being in alignment; none of them lined up in terms of attaching them to the table with the six screws provided. They weren't off a lot, but it was enough to hinder assembly. In my opinion, this is probably caused by the plastic inserts at the end of the legs that make sure the legs fit snugly into the bracket, but push the legs out enough from the table edge so the holes don't line up. I used a rubber mallet to gently tap the legs into the brackets, and they went all the way in, but the hole misalignment was evident. However, this was easily remedied by using a cordless drill with a 1/8th bit and drilling new holes for the screws. You shouldn't have to do this; the table should come with the holes in the proper place. But, if you are comfortable using a drill, it's a minor problem and an easy fix. Although the manufacturer provided an Allen wrench for the table assembly, you can use the ratcheting (or cordless) screwdriver to attach the bolts for the legs; it's a lot easier and faster. It was also nice that an extra screw and bolt were provided; one of the latter got stripped in assembling the table, and it was convenient to have the extra handy. Despite the minor issues described, this was, overall, one of the easiest products I've ever assembled, and it is sturdy and looks nice on my deck. Based on my experience, I would recommend it to anyone considering the purchase of this set.
THIS ENDED UP BEING MY 2ND CHOUCE SEEING THAT THE OTHER SET WAS OUT OF STOCK BUT ONCE IT BECAME AVAILABLE AGAIN IT WAS AN ADDITIONAL $200 SO I ORDERED THIS SET FOR $290 AFTER READING THE REVIEWS STILL PURCHASED IT THE TABLE ARRIVED SHATTERED IT WAS ORDERED WAS GIVEN A DELIVERY DATE DIDN'T ARRIVE THEN GIVEN ANOTHER DATE DIDN'T ARRIVE FINALLY DID IT WAS PUT TOGETHER LOOKS GORGEOUS IN MY YD EASY ASSEMBLY SOME HOLES DIDN'T LINE UP EASY PUT A LIL MUSCLE IT'LL WK
I really like this set and the price is great! It's sturdy, the fabric is good and it didn't take long to put it together. The only issue I have is one of the seats to the chair is missing and I have to wait until comes back in stock. But they were very pleasant and helpful in advising on how to obtain the seat.
Its a decent set if you can get it assebled. 3 of the chairs could not be assembled because the bolt holes in the legs didnt line up with the bracket holes in the seat. Had to return the first set and get a replacement from walmart because the manufacturer didnt have any replacement parts available.
This is one of the worst purchase we have ever made. Yes, it is cheap compared to others but even cheapness should come with a standard quality. 1. All of the screws are made up of very low quality material (not sure what it is). When you start tightening them, you always end up breaking them. By the way, I am not really tightening them all the way. 2. One of the screw hole in the left arm of the chairs is consistently not aligned. So one screw is missing in those too.
I just received and six chairs today which was four days late to arise still have not received the table the chairs are cricket the bolt break in half and they are crooked they cannot go in the spot they're supposed to not happy with this at all
Came with wrong bolts and dirty bended pieces
