Mainstays Soft Velvety Yarn, 315 yd, White, 100% Polyester, Pack of 4

This yarn is very soft and silky feeling. It works great for crocheting plushies. It feels the same and is the same thickness as Bernat velvet yarn but at a lower cost. The only problem I found was the fact it doesn't come in very many colors.

This yarn is so soft, great for blankets and crocheted animals. Great for every age, anyone who enjoys soft silky yarn. I wish it was available in stores. Very hard to find and when you can find it only a limited number of skeins

This yarn is so soft, so much better than the chenille stuff, nicely slippery, quick bc of the thickness and easy to work with (as long as you're not holding too much tension for crochet/knit). I loove this yarn spent like 70 bucks on it in 3 different colors. Gonna try out the white soon too, just wish they had a cream color and mauve/ brown, so I could make myself a top that would look flattering on my skintone. Pls make more colors !

I came in search of this specific product, as I had bought it before. (So far) one of the skeins has several “melted” sections, which cause the yarn to switch abruptly from soft to hard and scratchy. It appears to have been stored badly. Not upsetting enough to exchange, since it will take too much time to replace.

I'm using this yarn to crochet a blanket and have found it to be so easy to work with. The yarn is super soft and incredibly warm. Great value too.

I've bought this several times in different colors to make scarves and lap blankets. I just received the new color Stone, it's pretty yarn but not the color shown in the selection of colors. I've sent a photo of the actual color of the yarn. I'll make a baby blanket with the Stone color which can be for a boy or girl. What I received is really more of a Stone color, for that I'm ok with it. I only gave 4 stars because the skeins are not the true color you receive. I think its important for people to send photos so other customers can see exactly what they're getting.

love this yarn. It's honestly one of my favorites to work with. It's super soft and so easy to crochet with. My only complaint? The lack of colors. I really wish they offered a bigger variety of shades and thickness options. If they did, I would use this yarn exclusively — I like it that much. It doesn't shed, and making a magic ring with this velvety yarn is a piece of cake
