Mainstays Solace Bath Towel, Wheat, 25" x 50"

I received the Mainstays Solace Bath Towel and immediately washed it to see how it would hold up. I also used the dryer on hot to dry it. It came through with flying colors. The size of this bath towel is 25 inches by 50 inches, so it is a nice size bath towel. Now if you like the really thick bath towels then this towel is not for you. I personally, prefer a thinner bath towel and that is exactly what this towel is. It is not super thin, but just not a really thick towel. The colors are very pretty. I love the embroidery on the towel. It has three different embroidered flowers and a butterfly with the word "Faith" on it. The color of this towel is tan or beige with gold, orange and blue in the embroidery. The faith word is in brown and the butterfly is brown, blue and gold. This towel is trimmed in brown on the ends. It says to wash on cold setting and dry on low (I read this after I had already washed it) I did wash it in cold but dried it on high and it didn't shrink or anything. This towel is made of 100% cotton. It is very absorbent. It looks very pretty hanging in my bathroom. Overall, I am very happy with this towel and would recommend it to my family and friends.

Received this towel yesterday and not a lot to be said for this towel except that it laundered well and feels nice, It does it's job of drying you off after your shower or bath, It measures at 50 inches by 25 inches made of 100% cotton and looks good. I will give it 5 stars for sure.

Bought these as decorative feature. I love them. The colors pop. The fabric is very soft. There was no shrinking of the embroidery threading like some towels do

I was very happy to receive this Mainstays bath towel from the "solace" collection. I am one to check for quality stitching and seam , I checked this bath towel out and it is really sewn together very well so I would consider it a good quality towel. I washed it before use and it washed and dried well , no loose strings or fuzz all over my other items in the load with it - and it didn't shrink at all. The bath towel for me is just the right size at 25" x 50" perfect weight too, it's not ultra thick but is a decent weight towel just as I like them , definitely not thin at all. I thought I could use it for a head towel as I have very long hair , I can use it to dry my hair off but it's too heavy to use to wrap on my head and wear around the house for an length of time, I'll stick to using it as it should be ,a Bath Towel ! It's very absorbent and feels soft and luxurious. It is also very beautiful , mine is the "Faith" one and the color is like a cream with browns, burgundy and a touch of blue stripe. I took a pic of the towel hanging after I had taken a shower to let it dry out and the other pic is after I had washed it. I am remodeling my bathroom and I don't have towel racks/ holders up yet. This is a really nice bath towel that's big, soft, quality made and very pretty. FYI: If you want your towels to stay absorbent don't use liquid fabric softener use the dryer sheets only.

This is a Mainstay Embroidered, 100% Cotton Solace bath towel. Beautiful soft beige color with brown and other mixed colors on the length edges. The inspiring and encouraging word Faith is embroidered on the bottom of the towel surrounded by butterflies and flowers, also embroidered. Bath size towel approximately 25"X50", is machine washable and really brightens up my bathroom. These Mainstay towels do coordinate with bath accessories as well as different colors to choose from. This is a 100% cotton towel measuring 25" X 50". I like the embroider pattern with matching color coordinated edging, The towel is a decent size and the cotton is soft and absorbent. As you can see from the picture I did wash the towel in cold water before first use which was recommended.

The Mainstays Solace Bath Towel is soft, absorbent and attractive. I selected it for the inspirational embroidery of "Faith" accompanied by flowers and a butterfly. It compliments my bathroom decor well. It isn't as large as the bath towels I typically purchase, but it works well on the towel rack and for a decorative accent. I did notice some threads needed trimmed near the design. (These were towel fibers, not strings from the embroidery.) Overall, I am happy with this product and would consider purchasing the complimentary pieces.)

It is a small bath towel and it is pretty with the design. I just find it to be small more for a child's bath towel than an adult. I find it to be soft to the touch and I like the design and the only downfall is the size as way too small for me. I will still use the towel but I need to find a hand towel and washcloth to match as this is the way I like to display them. The towel is well made but not very thick to the touch.

I ordered the Mainstays Solace Bath Towel expecting to receive a nice fluffy bath towel that I used to use a a beach towel when I was younger but when I got it it turned out to be just like your average towel. Needless to say I was a bit disappointed! I would not recommend the Mainstays Solace Bath Towel.

Sometimes we have towels and such just for decoration. People will be in our house for an event and they will be visiting the bath rooms but not taking showers. So a towel like this makes a great decoration and makes a statement. "Faith is important." That being said it is too thin and light to be a good bath towel. I suppose one could use it but I would much prefer a thick towel that will easily remove the water from my body.
