The Halo Column Pathway Light Set is easy to install and gives off a clean, bright glow that makes walkways look great at night. The lights feel sturdy and stay secure in the ground. They turn on reliably and provide good visibility without being too harsh. Overall, it’s a nice upgrade for outdoor paths and makes the yard look more polished.
I love to have this Mainstays Solar Powered in my front yard, it lights up nicely at night. It's solar so I don't have to worry about electricity at all, it can take care of itself during daylight. I'm sure I will buy more of this to install both of my front yard and back yard. Definitely worth it.
I love these Mainstays Halo path lights! They are incredibly easy to assemble and provide a beautiful, subtle glow that enhances my walkway without being too harsh. The black classic finish looks sleek, and they hold a charge all night. A fantastic, budget-friendly way to boost curb appeal!
Beautiful little light that is much brighter than you’d think. It is a great accent light or path light. I like that it came already charged so I could place them as soon as I opened the box. The color temp is a bit in the cool side but it is still nice.
I definitely plan on buying more of these solar lights bc they're pretty for outside and I can't get my pictures to upload and I hate that but I hope Walmart knows there's a problem ok I digress, the lights are well made and affordable you get 6 in a box and they are easy to put together and stick in the ground preferably when it's damp after a rain lol
I wanted something to better light up the steps on my porch without the porch light being on %26 without spending too much money. At around $2 each with tax these work perfect. Be careful when installing them, the stake in the bottoms will crack the plastic shaft if pushed in too far rendering them unstable. Its a bad design but they are so cheap it doesn't matter. Tip: A piece of black electrical tape wrapped around the base to keep the steak secure in the shaft works best. Once the stake is inserted into the ground you're not going to see the electrical tape.
When I first received these Mainstay Solar Powered Black Classic Halo Column LED Path Lights 6 count, I was surprised. The box was super small because they come in pieces to be put together, however assembly time literally takes seconds. They are sleek modern which was the look I was going for. The steaks pierced the ground easily and each path light stands steadily on their own. The material is a hard durable plastic which I’m sure will hold up nicely outdoors. The instructions stated that normally they require 8 hours of sunlight to charge. Unfortunately for me after three days installed they still haven’t come on during the night. Hopefully this is just a singular event because I really wanted to love them.
Unfortunately I cannot recommend this because the one I received was dead on arrival. I even gave it three full days of sunlight to charge before testing it again and it still never turned on. Since I only received a single light there was not much I could review in terms of durability or operation. Based on what I have seen from others the brightness also seems lower than what I would want for a path or landscape setup. I would prefer something with a stronger and more reliable output.
the new design doesn't work for where i need them, safety around a popup expandable camper to keep people from hitting their heads on the beds. they work great in other areas around our home but will have to find the older design for safety while camping. i bought one set inside the store and 1 set online - went camping couple weeks later. first set one light refused to work, second set two lights refused to work, of all the many many years and dozens n dozens of lights bought thru walmart n the mainstays brand, i NEVER had one not work, let alone 3. disappointing quality no longer applies.
As soon as they arrived, and I went to assemble them, one of the green tabs didn't ignite the light like the five others. So needing six lights it really stinks to end up with just five. They're very difficult to put together. The stake does not want to go into either end of part C as the directions state I don't know if anyone else will get one that doesn't work or five that doesn't work but I would just avoid.
