Mainstays Solar Powered Black Lattice LED Walkway Light with Glass Lens, 8 Lumens

My first time ever using solar lights and these are especially nice. I do not know the life span of these, but so far (only a few days) they operate exactly as describes providing a beautiful amount of lighting alongside my flower bed walkway to my front door.

I wanted glass and these fit the bill. Never buy plastic because it turns yellow. For the price I won't buy anywhere else. They light my front walkway nicely. Just bring solar lights in for the winter to protect the electronics. The sun isn't up long enough or it's too cloudy to effectively charge the battery. They will last a lot longer.

I'm shocked that such a beautiful solar light is available at such a low price (less than $5!). I got some at El Cheapo store for $1.50. Guess what they were? EL CHEAPO!!! They were 3 lumens compared to these which are 8 lumens. I don't have a lumen meter but I'm sure I read it in the description. I can tell you personally, I tried one last night and pulled the tab and it lit the whole dark livingroom!! It wasn't as bright as the overhead light but the light source was so bright I couldn't look at it. I can't wait to see them all together tonight! It was super easy to put together, they charge in the sun so there's really nothing more for you to do. Just be careful with your trimmer because the pole is plastic. The clear part is 100% glass! Be careful not to drop it when you're putting it together. It's top heavy. if you're looking for a solar light that's easy on the wallet and won't kill your budget. this is your solar light. ❤️👩🏼‍🦳✨

I have these solar lights all around my landscaping. One discontinued working after 7 years and I was thrilled that I could still order a replacement online.

I have used solar lights for years. Some of them last for three to five years. These lights are nice and bright. I put them in the yard in clusters so you can walk around. Others put them near sidewalks. I have also put them in planters out front. It really looks nice when more people in the neighborhood put them out. This was a good price and came in a set of two. They operate on batteries so no need for an electric cord. They recharge with the sun every day.

Precision fits and finishes are readily apparent. During daylight hours the lattice trim is visually eye-catching and at night the lattice grid shadow on the ground below is striking. And, it is not just another pretty face; the units rigidity and overall robustness is apparent when installing it in the turf or handling it. A value-added feature is that no-tools are needed for maintenance; just rotate the top a few degrees to open the fixture, clean the interior, or replace the battery. At 8 lumens per fixture, the luminosity is adequate for identifying the path between fixtures, but is marginal in highlighting pathway imperfections such as uneven pavement at expansion joints. The most significant issue I experienced was that the included rechargeable battery failed in 8 days. This could be an anomaly, but more aggressive battery testing and selection by the manufacturer should prevent it. Irrespective of the battery issue, I still rate the product at 5 stars. Considering, it’s value pricing at less than five dollars, and it’s in-stock availability, it warrants 5 stars.

The mainstays Solar Lattice LED pathway light was easy to assemble following the included instructions. The light is solar powered and does have a replaceable battery that are easy to find and replace if needed. The light is about 17 inches tall once assembled and stands about 14 inches once placed in the ground. The light does need to be placed in a location that will be in sunlight for an extended amount of time for the battery to fully charge. Once charged the light will automatically come on at dusk and stay on for about 8-9 hours depending on how much of sun light the unit received to charge the batteries. When placed along a sidewalk or pathway the light is bright enough to comfortably see up to about 2 feet around it. The LED emitter does put out a bright white light and the pattern of the lattice around the glass globe makes for a pleasant light and shadow pattern. The light does seem to be well made and would be very easy to move if needed to use a weed eater around it. The light is waterproof and colder temperatures do not seem to affect it very much.

i thught these would of been what i needed. but they are not really bright enough. they are also made kinda cheat. had a few tries to put the cap on. it wouldnt line up and the light was cheaply made that i could squeeze them so easy while trying to put the cap on.

the solar light was delivered with the top solar panel opened, the battery taken out, and the cover to hold the battery in gone. so the low rating is merely because I had to go back to the store to set everything correct. now that I have the new one they seem to work very well

These lights are beautiful in design but barely light up at night. Maybe it's because we haven't gotten full sun during the day yet, it is January in San Diego after all, but the light is very dim and has been totally spent by midnight. Totally disappointed. Hopefully in the summer when the days are longer and brighter I may get better results…
