Mainstays Solid Hand Towel, Brown Basket

can I say DOUBLE WOW....the size, the thickness and the softness....is just breathtaking....and it is just the right look and blend for my bathroom decor....I'm just again ....blown away by the high quality for the super low price ...this is a must have item .... and does it dry you off just right ...and the size is perfect....and the softness again is just awesome .... definitely going my brand of towels moving forward!!

when we first opened the package, I held up the towels and you could see through them. I was not happy. I washed them and they fluffed right up, so fluffy and soft and thick!! It was like magic, I couldnt believe it!! Just empty your lint stainer in the dryer at least half way through, love these towels !!

I have a small off grid cabin with a small bathroom with very little storage. We needed some towels for there although did not have any cabinets to store them in. I purchased these towels and they work out perfect. They are not super thick and fluffy, but that wasn't what I wanted anyway. They roll up very neatly to go on the stand next to our foot pump sink. I have washed them multiple times and have had no issues. I will continue to buy these in the future.

Ordered two sets of this color and the blue. Am pleased with both. Others have mentioned a lot of lint the first washing but I had no issues. Soft and absorbent. Overall very pleased with all aspects of ordering and receiving and at a very reasonable price.

The price was great. Having said that, this towel would have been great for me even at a higher price. It absorbs water really fast and does so without being so thick that it takes forever to dry in the dryer. Finally, as a man who it isn't an expert on towel softness, it seems really soft to me.

So I purchased the Mainstays Basic Bath Collection - Single Bath Towel, Rich Black Ombre Stripe. And after 1 wash in cold water the black faded. I mean I know it only cost $3 but I wasn’t expecting it to fade after 1 wash. I also purchase the Pink Ombre and it is still the same shade of pink after 1 wash.

Well...first thing pulling the stickers off to pre wash before using? Several threads pulled up. Looked tacky and "cheap" immediately. Did not fluff up at all and wasn't very absorbent. Will not be buying more and ones I did buy will be for my sons when they visit, lol.

Bought 3 of the blue and 4 of the black. The black towels faded to almost a charcoal grey after the first wash and you cant dry off with the blue ones without being covered in blue lint leaving your skin itchy. I have washed the blue ones about 10 times with fabric softner and used dryer sheets trying to make them stop shedding lint everytime you use them. Nothing has worked so far. I feel like I wasted my money because I will be buying all new towels somewhere else very soon and tossing these. I have had these towels for 2 weeks now and I'm very disappointed.

I purchased 3 of these bath towels and 3 hand towels about 10 years ago from the store and they were thick and soft. Due to normal wear over the years it was time to get replacements. I was grateful to see the same color was still available and the sets were less expensive...or so I thought. When the new towels arrived the first thing I noticed was they were nowhere near as thick as the old ones. In fact, they are only 1/3 as thick. Before using, I put them in the washer; when pulling them out I noticed a LOT of lint in the bottom of the bin. Since my dryer is currently out of commission I have to hang my clothes up to dry in my bedroom. While hanging the towels up a LOT of lint or threads ended up on the floor...so much I had to vacuum. l also took pictures of the mess for documentation. Later, after the sun went down, I turned on the light in the bedroom to check if the towels were dry yet. I was SHOCKED to see that the light could be seen through the towels!!! l grabbed one of the old towels and held it up and could not see light coming through it. Talk about cheap and extremely disappointing. Unless Mainstays puts out a quality towel again I will no longer purchase another towel bearing their brand. Two days later I bought 2 sets of my pillow bath towels.

You are supposed to wash the towels before using them. I did and they shredded. I have had towels do that before, so as I was hanging them up small pieces of lint from the towels was all over my clothes, So I washed them again, more lint in tubs, washed them again more lint in tubs and in the washer. Took them out of the washer, lint from towels all over them again! POOR QUALITY!
