I love this yarn! It is not as thick as some yarns, but it is super soft and it allows me to knit tight, and the result is a blanket that you can use your round! Not too heavy and definitely not too light either just perfect for year-round use

I used this to hand knit a blanket. It is exactly like yarn I have purchased at big box craft stores. I usually use coupons and member rewards at the craft stores. Walmart's yarn is way less expensive even when compared to the prices I paid using coupons/discounts at craft stores. I wish this yarn came in more colors. That's the only downside.

This yarn, in my opinion, is the very best chunky yarn for the price!! I looked at other places who carry ‘name-brand yarns and found nothing to compare to this is bulkiness! It’s exactly what I wanted for my Christmas projects. Everyone loved their blankets! My only complaint is that the 2 grey colors were much more bulky and made up nicer than the white!

Great yarn for chunky soft blankets. Keeps you warm and cozy. Only con is limited colors (red and yellow/mustard) are never in stock! Also not all colors are sold in 4pack online. Which is a bummer!!! Next best to Hobby Lobby’s Eternal Bliss and Bernat Blanket Big collections but they are a bit more pricey. Yarn holds up well

This yarn was amazing. So so very soft. I made a throw blanket for my daughter, who is expecting, to take with her to the hospital since I am not allowed by hospital rules to be there with her. So she will have the throw there to comfort her in the hospital. I used the largest crochet needle and it turned out great!

This is a great chunky chenille yarn at a great price. I just finished finger knitting a blanket using 8 skeins of yarn. One skein had 2 knots, but the other 7 were knot free. The color and loft were consistent throughout. I “cast on” 32 stitches and ended up with a blanket measuring 52” x 62”. It’s lofty, squishy and cuddly. I will definitely be making more!

I am obsessed with chunky blankets. However, I’m not thrilled with the price tag that accompanies the chunky blankets I adore. After watching several YouTube videos, I decided to make a few of my own using this yarn. This yarn did not disappoint. The yarn is soft and easy to work with. When I encountered connections in the skein I had no worries. I actually had to make knots each time I needed to add a new skein, but once the blanket was complete I didn’t notice the knots. This yarn is very well priced. Yes, the big name craft stores sell yarn too, but it’s much more expensive. Because of this yarn’s reasonable price point, I have been able to make several blankets without busting my budget. I will continue to use this yarn to make the chunky blankets I love so much. Quality yarn at a fabulous price. I’ll definitely be purchasing more!

I use this yarn to knit chunky blankets. Eight skeins with size 50 round needles (for the extra length) make up a 40x60 piece. The yarn is uniform in texture with minimal shedding and only an occasional knot. I do wish they made it in more pastel colors. I’m glad it is available online to eliminate trips to stores for sufficient quantity.

This yarn is a chunky and effective, very affordable product for hand crocheting or arm knitting. There are multiple vibrant colors that work for solid, color blocking, or variation designs. I purchased 4 skeins for under $22 and that is extremely cheap for this type of yarn. The quality is amazing considering the cost. I have made 4 chunky hand crochet blankets in the last two weeks using varying Mainstays chunky yarn. I will continue to order this 4 pack product at this amazing price and would also recommend for others interested in crocheting or knitting beautiful items for their friends, family, etc.

Specifically for the multi-color skeins, the patterns is consistent enough, that if a skein is "off" the whole project looks terrible. Are some wound backwards? I purchased a different color and tried to line them up to have the pattern repeat properly. Between 12 skeins, I couldn't find the same repeating pattern in more than 3 skeins.
