Mainstays Stainless Steel 3-Quart Saucepan with Straining Lid

Solid little sauce pan when you want a smaller amount of food, such as a can of soup or small pot of rice or 1 box Mac %26 cheese without getting a larger 2 or 3 qt out to clean. Takes less space in the dishwasher. The glass lid has a steam hole to avoid boiling over. On a glass top stove, it has functioned very well. Great to have for an RV, camping box or new apt. It does have a slight indent to help pour liquids out and strainer holes in the lid. If you're new to stainless steel and burn something, I add warm water and soap right away to soak. After a few hours or overnight, it should come off easily or scrub the bottom with some baking soda or salt and it cleans up well! Even heat distribution. Would buy again or gift.

Nothing to dislike. I like everything about it. I am a Mac %26 cheese fanatic. this little pot with the strainer lid works great on straining my elbow macaroni! It is the best thing since sliced bread. I bought 2. mine and one fory grand daughter. She loved mine so I bought one for her. A great product!!!!

WALMART mainstays is a great line of kitchen and household items that you will not regret purchasing. The pants that I purchased were a very, very snazzy stainless steel and were very sturdy construction. What was amazing to me is that they have a lid that allows you to lift the edge of it up and strain liquid out of the pan without losing the main ingredients down the drain once again it's an unbeatable price. I am so proud of mine that I'm trying to find a place in the kitchen to hang them so that when somebody comes in, they will immediately complement me on these parts. You could buy utensils and be very, very satisfied with the quality and usefulness you won't be sorry you've purchased these.

I bought my mom an induction cooktop to use for her coffee. This Mainstays 1qt plan works perfectly on her induction cooktop. She can make coffee quickly using this pot and an induction cooktop without heating up the house. This is especially important during the summer months. Also, the lip on the pan and the slight indention for pouring is really good to pour hot water into a coffee mug or a French press (depending on what type of coffee you are looking to make). Would recommend buying again.

The 1 quart size of this type of utensil is very very helpful. It's smaller size can allow you to put it in the refrigerator for storage and easily get it in and out the main stages line of kitchen items is a great bargain for someone who likes to get good products at a great price things will pan out successfully for you when you begin to use these on the daily basis happy cooking

This Mainstays 3 quart stainless steele is incredible! It has a heat resistant and shatter resistant glass lid, the lid has an easy pour spout and great for straining. It’s oven and dishwasher safe, it’s also easy to wash by hand. Food cooks quickly and evenly and it’s great with metal cooking utensils as well.

I'm not sure how much my review will help others. I bought this because I needed a pot to heat water for tea and to make hummingbird food. I will not be heating food in it just basically heating up water. It meets my needs, it a little smaller than what I wanted but it works. I can't really vouch for the lid, I haven't used it. I like stainless steel pots and pans, this pot is kind of in-between the set I use daily and the cheap set.

Wasn't what I thought it was! My fault. I should know better, not to order kitchen cookware without holding, and seeing it myself. No clad bottom, very thin stainless, and it had a dent on one side, it doesn't affect using it, so I didn't send it back. Also, you can not pick it up by handle while cooking, it gets really hot. I do think I got what I paid for. LOL!

Manufacturing quality has gone down since purchasing one like this a few years ago. This one pitted after the first washing and the metal sounds and feels thinner. Too cheap to go through the trouble of returning and it's made in India so they 'll never be reached, so...

The stainless steel walls are way too thin. Paper thin. This pan only last three months before the sidewall cracked apart. I have never seen such fragile metal used in cookware.
