[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this Mainstays Color paring knife,,,the color is great,it;s very sharp,and cuts perfect,from tomatoes to carrots went through like butter,and when you're camping it's important to have a knife you can count on,I also love the blade cover,so no accidental cuts,when getting it out of camping gear.,it also has a curved hand grip for easy handling..I recommend this to anyone who wants a sharp,reliable paring knife,for camping or to have in your home kitchen for hard to cut foods.

However, I was pleasantly surprised that it sliced through everything effortlessly. I like that it has a cover so when I get ready to store it in a drawer it is safe and will not cause any harm. I am not sure how the plastic part will hold up. The plastic part is lightweight, making it seem like it would not last long. Other than that, I like how it performs.

The blade is sharp and cuts through meats both cooked and raw, and does a nice job on the veggies as well. I love that it has a sheath to put it in, which will make it a nice addition to our tailgating in the upcoming football season. All around a good product!

After only a couple times through the dishwasher, it is already showing signs of rust. Nonetheless, we do like this compact kitchen knife.
