Mainstays Stainless Steel Cookware and Kitchen Combo Set

Mainstays never disappoints! Over the years, I've purchased several items from Mainstays and I can honestly say that I've never been disappointed. Great quality, great price and they last. When shopping, I always compare the item to Mainstays and usually end up getting the Mainstays brand for these reasons. They are very picky in who they chose to buy from and I always love everything.

I used every single one of the pots and fry pan from the Mainstays 10 Piece Stainless Steel Cookware Set for Easter dinner. I was very impressed. The set includes a 1 & 2 qt sauce pan, a dutch oven and a 8.5" fry pan. The lids, which are see through, are included but the lid for the fry pan does double duty for the dutch oven. In addition, I was happy to have the 2 spoons and spatula that are part of this box. This set is made out of stainless steel and is dishwasher safe. My spinach sauteed perfectly in the fry pan, the pots warmed the other vegetables perfectly and the dutch oven was the perfect size to boil my potatoes. I am very satisfied with this set. No burn or scorch marks and they cleaned up as good as new from the dishwasher. Very satisfied!

This set is very nice looking. All stainless with glass cooking lids and plastic storage lids for the bowls. This cookware is lightweight and easy to handle. Have cooked with a few of the pieces so far and everything has cooked up just fine. The handles stay cool to the touch while cooking, which is super nice. Because it’s lightweight, it’ll be interesting to see how long this cookware lasts, but it would make a great starter set for someone moving into their first place and in need of a full set of cookware on a budget.

I really like this set, it looks gorgeous and functions wonderfully! I first used it for was to saute veggies and cook mashed potatoes and they cooked evenly without any sticking or scraping. I can not wait to use this set to make chili! The 10 piece set is a perfect starter set it comes with everything you need. I hand washed all of the pieces, and everything washed very well and seems to be good, sturdy quality! I am overall super pleased with this set and would highly recommend it! It would make a perfect gift.

This is a great set for my tiny kitchen. Clean up is surprisingly easy for stainless steel. Seems a bit soft for stainless, especially the utensils, but overall I would purchase again if needed. I did purchase a rail to hang most used items and love the ease of access over using cabinet storage.

I like this set it's the perfect set for cooking for 2. I like that it's lightweight because most pots and pans are pretty heavy to me. They take up less space in the cupboard and dish washer. I'm not sure about frying things because I have my 1 perfect nonstick frying pan, but definitely great for steaming, boiling and cooking meats.

I got this set for my daughter who is going off to college. It is lightweight, and perfect for starting out. I love the variety of pans, lids, utensils and mixing bowls. It will make a great gift for weddings, new homes, or off to college. I tested it by reducing blueberries for my cousin who can't have artificial dyes. It worked great! The handle did not get hot at all and the reduction was perfect. And the ladle! I love the shape and how shallow it is. I did receive it for review but my review is my own and truthful.

My husband and I have used every piece that comes in this set so far it is as expected. The handles will get hot so make sure you have pot holders. The pots will heat fast because the metal is thinner so you can easier burn your food if you have not careful. Overall I am very happy with it and will purchase again when needed.

This is a good starter set for someone who is starting anew. It's lightweight. It's smaller in size so maybe more for a single person or couple. Love that it has lids and comes with a spoon and spatula set although it is too SS so would scrap the pots. This is not a high end set so care needs to go into cleaning and cooking with it. The handles get a bit hot but the lid handles do not. Very good packaging. It was bubble wrapped and individual plastic covered. Nothing was scratched or dented.

The pot and pan set itself is cute. However when it comes to functionality the product falls short. I've used the pans twice now and each time whatever I'm cooking gets stuck into the bottom of the pan whether I use butter, oil, or nothing. The picture of the medium size pan below shows how messed up they can get and aren't really usable afterwards.
