Mainstays Stainless Steel Gear Can Opener

I received the stainless steel can opener. It's very light to use. But it works like a heavy duty electric can opener. It doesn't slip or miss spots in the can, while opening. Fits perfectly in your hand, not at all gaudy in touch. It's not flimsy like some can openers. Which is a big plus for me. You can tell it will withstand and last. Very pleased !

This Mainstays Stainless Steel Can Opener works great, I wouldn't have expected anything less because it definitely looks very nice and durable. It is made of stainless steel that is easy to hold, sturdy and the look matches the appliances in my kitchen, which is very nice. The can opener works with the simple turning of the grip, which turns the gears on the backside and effortlessly cuts open every can. This can opener has an added bottle opener for convenience, which is great. I would recommend this product.

I have bought numerous inexpensive can openers for years and fought with them to get cans open. I even bought an electric can opener and fought with it to get cans open. This is the best can opener I ever owned. It cut cleanly, no jagged edges. I don't want metal in my food. This one cut clean.

This can opener is actually pretty nice considering it's a value brand product. The handle is comfortable to hold and the blade glides along the can with ease. I've had more expensive can openers that gave me more issue. I really like this. If you're looking for a simple inexpensive can opener, this is for you! I like that it's stainless steel, hoping it doesn't rust like other openers.

Can opener is just a tad bit smaller then what I expected, but as it turned out...it's just the perfect size! The whole can opener is stainless steel and and blends right in with my other stainless steel utensils, very attractive add on. The grips are solid and smooth and very comfortable in your hand. Happy that it doesn't have those rubber sleeves like other can openers that make it harder to keep clean, this one can go right in the dish washer. The blade is nice and sharp and glides right thru opening a can with out those annoying skips and stutters and missed cuts like some other brands will do. Smaller size is actually way more easier to use and way more comfortable, perfect for people who might have some mobility issues with their hands. Would recommend this can opener to anyone. will be purchasing a few others to add to my camping gear and just to have an extra on hand.

This is a great affordable can opener. It's sharp and gets the job done. The reason why I picked this particular one is because there is no plastic to it. It's a stainless steel kitchen tool that won't crack. This is a tool I'll take car camping with me and it's useful for everyday use.

The look of this opener is sleek, in the silver. It also seems pretty sturdy, and of some quality. Right now, it is just gliding over can smoothly, and works much better than my old can opener, but I don't know how long it will take to dull since I haven't had it very long. Overall, I am happy with the look, quality and function, so I would definitely recommend it.

I am really happy with this can opener. For the last year the cans that I have purchased at the store did not want to open with my old can opener. It would leave spaces that would not cut. I would have to finally pry the lid off with a screwdriver and a pair of pliers. It was starting to get a little hard to buy things in cans. The cutter on this can opener must be bigger than my old opener as I had no problem opening any can. Easy to clean also.

I thought I would really like the Mainstays stainless steel can opener, but unfortunately, it didn't work as well as I thought it would. The blades are so dull that I had to go around the can several times to get it open, restarting it because it kept jumping off track and ultimately causing a lot of strain on my wrists. Pay a little more for better quality.
