Mainstays Westley 5-Shelf Arch Bookcase, Black Finish

It is quite sturdy and wasn't horribly difficult to put together! Due to the weight I put the bottom part and top part completely together separately. Once both pieces were put together I stopped the bottom up and lowered the top piece onto it. No hammer or drill required just a Phillips head screwdriver and an Allen wrench.

loved the shelf unit .easy to put together. the shelves are a great color, the natural light color with the black arched outline fit my toom and decore great. would recommend and order again

I bought three of these for my new house - I am buying one more now! They are very cute, quite sturdy, and stylish. They aren't real wood but look nice. I would definitely recommend.

I really like the look of the bookshelf. Assembly/directions could be a bit better, but if you've put together furniture before you can figure it out. I was disappointed that one of the two shelves I ordered was damaged in delivery. All of the items looked to be fine until I flipped the bookshelf over and noticed that the backing of the bookshelf was damaged. It is partially covered by the shelf, but I can't move that shelf without showing the damage. Walmart customer service was not helpful. They wanted me to return a fully assembled bookshelf and reorder a new one instead of offering any kind of discount or partial refund, which I thought was poor customer service.

Looks great. Good instructions that are easy to follow. Easy to put together. I did by myself in about an hr. Seems sturdy to me good quality. Time will tell how well it lasts.

Beautiful piece, easy to assemble but one of the side boards was really faded so it doesn't look as nice as it should. I didn't want to put effort into exchanging it. I just placed the side that's faded towards a wall.

Side B was missing holes for the shelves (factory mistake) contacted customer service and was told 3 business days someone would come to correct. No one ever showed up or called me to follow up. It’s too big to un assemble.

Shame on you, Walmart. First, for sending me a piece of junk book case. Spent 5 hours trying to put it together. It was falling apart, wouldn’t hold itself up, never mind hold books. Second, for telling me you’d schedule a pick of the item so I could get my money back. Received pick up window of 2-6pm. Called Walmart at 5:40pm and was told to call the company doing the pick up. Did that, was told no pick up was scheduled. Called Walmart this morning to request my money back and was told I need to wait another 4 hours for another pick up they’d schedule. Requested supervisor. Ezraa refused refund and refused to get on the phone. Finally got to another supervisor, Ahmed, who was condescending and beyond rude. A company as large as Walmart should be able to issue a refund when the customer has already wasted 4 hours waiting for a pick up that didn’t happen and providing a subpar item. Target would NEVER treat customers so disrespectfully. I would like a call from Corporate on this matter. I filled out a form online requesting this.

I bought this bookcase because it looked so beautiful online. highly disappointed. the back of the shelf is so unstable and that made the rest of the bookshelf hard to finish. the worst part is that after finishing the assembly its still so wobbly and unstable. Definitely not worth the money

building this was a pain!! why thr heck would you have a trifold as the backing and then tell me to assemble it laying down. the part wont go into its groove and then it broke while trying to manipulate it into place. and then the bottom piece wouldnt go into place because the trifold was not cooperative.
