I have extremely sensitive skin. This works really well for me. Sometimes, I have some dryness, but I also use water the temperature of a solar flare. It only takes a little bit; it's actually really easy to use too much. It's a great clean, no-plastic product. I use it all the time, including for travel. Travel is where it really shines. It lasts a long time, so the price isn't extreme once you take that into account. (Context: I have thick/fine/straight/white people hair) I dont use conditioner with is very often, or it is overly moisturizing and causes me not to be able to skip a day.
Perfumes trigger my migraines. This shampoo bar works great and is lightly scented with citrus oils. The scent does not linger and the shampoo is effective and easy to pack for travel.
Gets very sudsy like a shampoo - gets hair very squeaky clean
My husband loves this for his fairly greasy, dandruff-prone hair. Feels like it cleans and moisturizes his scalp without a greasy appearance. Hate that we always have to buy online (as opposed to in-store), but it worth it!
I've tried a lot of different shampoos and shampoo bars lately. Other shampoo bars I've tried left my hair looking and feeling heavy and gummy. Not this one!! This one is by far my favorite because it checks every single one of my boxes… 1. Leaves hair feeling clean 2. Plastic free 3. Affordable 4. Easy to use— lathers beautifully! 5. No synthetic fragrances, which always give me a headache 6. Leaves hair soft and manageable Here's how I use it: I get my hair SUPER soaking wet. Then I take the bar and rub it on my scalp (NOT all the way down my hair!!!) all the way around, making sure it's evenly distributed. For my very thick hair, that was about 8-10 strokes around my head. Next I massage it into my scalp for a good minute, tipping my hair back for little bits of water to keep it foamy. Lastly I spend a good minute rinsing it out, making sure to lift up sections of my hair so no product is left. The shampoo running down the length of my hair as I rinse it is enough to cleanse it. That's it! For reference, I have extremely thick, medium coarseness, and straight hair with a super oily scalp.
Love this product.
It cleans my oily hair very well, and leaves my hair looking and feeling great, but it has a weird fragrance.
I was sold a shampoo bar that was supposed to be a little pastel green, an Easter color if you will. When opened I saw that the shampoo bar was brown like lettuce that had started to go bad. I emailed the shampoo company questioning the color cause I've been buying from them since 2018 and they told me the bar looked “very expired” and asked for the lot number. After giving it to them they let me know that the shampoo bar I received was in fact from a batch made in 2020…… 4 years ago. I'm sure those who check their beauty/skin/hair care products know that these products say they typically have shelf lives of 6-12 months 18 at the longest. So why I received a shampoo bar that was years past its throw out date is beyond me. Thankfully the REAL company, Hibar, sent me a brand new shampoo bar on their dime even though they weren't the ones that received my money. Hibar itself is an awesome product that it's amazingly affordable. I love the shampoo bars. They typically last me like 6 months! I don't think I'll ever stop loving this brand and company! I'm very saddened that this third party seller could've ruined the experience for new customers that didn't know better like me and could've possibly shown their anger at hibar instead of the third party seller. Idk how many bars this person has, but it's best to assume that NONE of them are good.
